5 out of 5 starsThe picture and frame were both amazing and the description is spot on. This was a gift and the packaging they put on it was also really lovely, rustic, and ecofriendly! Would definitely purchase from this shop again in a heartbeat.

WE'RE ALASKA LIVING, ADVENTURE SEEKING, DOG LOVING SIGN MAKERS! And we can't wait to make a sign for you!
Hi friends! I'm Desi, I was born and raised in Kailua, O’ahu right across the street from the beautiful Lanikai Beach. My love for the ocean and outdoors began when I was very young, my sisters and I were practically raised on the water – more specifically – miles out at sea every weekend on our family fishing boat (our father is a sea captain and avid waterman). As a result, I was raised with a deep respect and love for the ocean and all things outdoors. Every summer since I was 10, my family and I would travel to Alaska to fish and explore. In 2010 I moved to Fairbanks, Alaska (this would be my first time ever experiencing winter) for college which is where I met Elias. The plan was to get my degree then move back home, but life had other ideas. 😉
Elias was born and raised on a small farm in interior Alaska. He also shares a love for all things outdoors. He has been hunting and fishing in Alaska his entire life starting with dip netting on the Copper River years ago. From a young age, he helped raise livestock and crops on their subsistence farm and has worked on construction sites almost his entire life, starting at 13 years old. In 2009 he moved to north to Fairbanks for college which is where he and I met.
We slowly moved our way south and currently live on the Kenai Peninsula, in the small town of Soldotna, Alaska with our two huskies, Shadow & Kai.
We started Wheelhouse Designs in October of 2018. Our love for Alaska and the outdoors is the inspiration behind all of our designs. We are so thankful for the amazing response to our creations, we’ve grown far more than we had anticipated this year, and it’s because of all of you ✨💛
