About

Sharing love of art and a sense of humor is fun and rewarding

My Etsy Shop grew out of my love of art and desire to share my interests and creations. Finding a home for one of my wood art pieces is very rewarding. For fifty years (off and on) I have enjoyed making pieces of art from stone and wood that others may have discarded. My first sculptures were bas reliefs in slate from the roofs of pseudo chateau dwellings in New Orleans. I later, after education and family started to study woodcarving with Tom Wolfe, Ron Ransom, Larry Green, Helen Gibson, Wayne Shinlever, Orchid Davis and others at the John C. Campbell Folk School. For that reason a portion of the proceeds of my shop on Etsy go to support the Folk School.
