I love the shorter version of my original necklace. The beadwork is beautiful and the necklace has a special meaning to me as I suffer from chronic pain. 5 stars!!!!

A tale of threads and sparkly things
A life long love of needlework of all kinds and a life long love of jewelry combined in 2009, and Whimsy Beading was born. At first offering plus-size strung jewelry items for plus-size folks like me, once I discovered off-loom beadweaving, I never looked back. It started simply, by learning the peyote beadweaving stitch, and exploded once I taught myself the spiral rope pattern from a Laura McCabe book. Since then I've expanded to netting stitches and developing my own patterns as well as making use of the fabulous patterns available from other beadweavers around the world - with their permission,of course!
Nowadays you'll usually find me at my beading table when I'm not working my full time job, and I'll probably be watching Doctor Who, Top Gear, or Burn Notice, though I have been known to get a little crazy and fire up a nice musical from time to time.

Q: Why is the shipping processing time so long?
A: Whimsy Beading is a one-person shop, and that person (that is, me) also has a full time job to pay for the non-sparkly, but needed things like health insurance, a mortgage, and cat food. So really, this is my second full-time job. Processing time will also vary depending on the size of the orders ahead of yours in the order queue, so your order may ship sooner than the 4-6 week turnaround if at all possible. If you need an order rushed to you, there is a small fee required, which can be purchased in addition to your item.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you need to ship an item back to me, I do ask that you pay for the shipping.
Additional policies and FAQs
I welcome your custom orders!
If you would like a place a custom order I will keep in touch with you via email or Etsy convo with regards to colors, styles and any other special requests you have. I will need an email address where photos may be sent, so you can approve them before I start work on your order. I require that you pay the total due up front, with the understanding that if after you have approved the pictures and style, when you receive it in person you don't like it, you can ship it back for rework for free if it is an issue of sizing/defect.
You will be required to pay for the return shipping.
Repairs are always free for any item purchased from my shop. I do ask that you pay the return shipping to send your item back to me for repairs.
