Hi, and welcome to WhimsyKnits. Thanks for stopping by the shop. I offer handspun yarns, handknit items, and handwoven accessories. If you would like to request custom spinning or handweaving just convo me and we'll work out the details.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
It is my desire for each of my customers to be 100% satisfied with their purchase. I will accept returns if the item is in its original condition and it is posted from you within 5 days of receipt. You must convo me to let me know your are returning the item and the reason. S&H are non-refundable and you will be responsible for the S&H charges incurred in the return and in the original sale. If you convo me, return the item in its original condition and I receive it within 10 days the purchase price will be returned to your PayPal account.

If there are any problems, please do not hesitate to convo me. I would like the opportunity to discuss the problem and work to a resolution that is acceptable to both of us. Please allow me to attempt to find a suitable resolution before feedback is left.
Payment
Preferred payment is via PayPal. If you use an echeck through PayPal, your order will not be shipped until the echeck clears (usually 4-6 business days). Items purchased with a US Money Order will be shipped when the money order has been received. I also accept credit cards through the Etsy credit card checkout.

Immediate payment is preferred. If you cannot pay at the time you place the order, please convo me to let me know when to expect payment. I will occasionally be able to wait up to 3 days for payment, but no longer than 3 days. If I do not hear from you in 24 hours to make arrangements for a delayed payment the item will be relisted and the sale canceled.
Shipping
Every attempt is made to post your order on the business day following payment.
Shipping is via USPS First Class mail. If you wish Priority Shipping please convo me for an updated shipping price.

If you wish to have your purchase insured, please convo me for the amount. Once the item(s) leave my hands I can no longer be responsible for them. If a package is lost in the mail I will not refund the price, please contact me about purchasing insurance if your are concerned about loss. If you purchase $100 USD or over on any one order I will pay for the insurance.
Additional policies and FAQs
Prices of handspun yarns may vary according to the cost of the fiber used. I purchase much of the fiber for my handspun yarns from other fiber artists, so the cost of my supplies can vary accordingly.

I do my best to achieve accurate colors in the pictures I post of the items for sale. Please remember that all monitors show colors differently. If you have any questions, please convo me.

My house is non-smoking. There are dogs in the house, but they do not have access to the fiber and yarns I use.
