Ordered a custom leather sleeve for my Sony rx100. It came out perfect. She was really great to work with getting her the specs and she created and shipped incredibly fast. getting lots of compliments on it and fit perfectly

Shop policies

Welcome to White Feather Leatherworks! All items are 100% handmade in my studio. And, this means totally handmade = individually hand cut, hole punched by hand and hand stitched!
I use natural & organic hardware, as well as funky mechanical, rusty hardware as found. My items purposely incorporate natural edges, scars and markings into the design's production, as I feel this is what makes each item independently unique.
I welcome custom & corporate projects!* Each will be independently priced according to size, quantity, materials and labor.

Returns >
1.) If you decide you don't want or need the item, returns can be made within 5 days of receiving it.
Return shipping is at your own cost and must be sent back within 3 days.
Item(s) must be in the same quality and condition as when it originally shipped.
The refund, less the shipping charges, on these returns will be made AFTER it is received back- and will reflect the (minimal) Etsy fees I am charged to my account to refund the transaction back to you.
(*Custom orders cannot be returned- unless there is a mistake by the manufacturer/me!- and the return will depend on the situation. Luckily I have yet to experience this...so....)
2.) If an item has a defect, please notify asap in a convo with a picture. We'll take it from there...!?

Cancellations >
1.) Cancelling your order prior to it shipping is not a problem and your transaction will be refunded to you- less the fees that are charged to my account to do so
2.) Cancelling your order after to it shipped, refer to return policy 1. noted above.

***SALE ITEMS cannot be cancelled or returned. Sorry.

Luckily I have had very few experiences with returns and/or cancellations, so I hope I have covered worst case scenarios! Any questions? Contact me.

I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
I pride myself on making quality, 100% handmade items. Luckily, after 15+ years of selling, I have had less than a handful of returns or repairs. So, if something goes awry with your item, please contact me asap! And, we will take it from there!!
Payment
All items ship after full payment is received.
Standard forms of payment accepted= direct Etsy check out, PayPal...
Shipping
> All items listed are ready to ship, unless a customization is requested.

> All items have an additional shipping charge, which is based on the US Postal Service rates.

> Larger items ship via priority flat rate; smaller items ship standard with tracking.

> Expedited & international shipping can be done. However, shipping charges need to be adjusted prior to shipping- so please contact me before placing your order!

> If there is a problem with the address given and the item is returned to me- you must repay shipping charges to re-ship. (This happened with a client in a rural area where shipments/mailings are only accepted at a P.O. Box, rather than a physical address.) If it is returned to me, YOU are responsible for the additional shipping cost.

> Lost items during shipping is NOT my responsibility. I ship to the address noted on the Etsy address form. SO, please double check when placing your order.

I usually go on an honor basis when things go awry with shipping I mean, "things happen." So, I try to work with you, as much as with the carrier to figure things out!! ...a ongoing learning lesson!!
