Arrived really quickly and I really liked the lovely personalised card that came with it. The bracelet is exactly what I thought it would look in person from looking at the photos and am really pleased with communication from the seller and the bracelet. Will definitely buy from again!
How it all got going!
I have been making jewellery for a few years now. I started with plated wire and beads, making earrings and necklaces for friends as gifts. Some of those pieces are still some of my favourites.
More recently I have branched out into using Sterling Silver wire and semi-precious stone beads in my designs. Since mid 2009 I have become interested in chain maille and wire weaving as a method of producing jewellery that I enjoy wearing.
I enjoy seeing people wear the items that I create. It gives me a buzz to see a necklace or earrings I've put thought into designing being worn.
Most of my inspriation comes from the beads I buy. Beads that I find in online shops and physical brick shops as well as at events such as "Flame Off" (lampwork beads). It is usually the beads that show me how they should be used, this is especially true of the lampwork or specially shaped beads. Colour plays a large part in what I make when using beads in my designs.
I find sterling silver a very tactile material to work with. I love that a finished piece demands "touch me" of people.
The pieces pictured on my website include items currently for sale here on Etsy and also pieces commissioned in the past. I am always happy to discuss commissions so please feel free to contact me.
I have a blog that I periodically update with wat I've been doing in relation to making jewellery, it keeps me amused when I run out of other things to do.

This is me with a new friend while visiting a theme park.
Then I discovered chain maille - and it became a passion! Chain maille items work best with pure metal wire as the colour of the metal is throughout each ring used in the piece. For this reason I use Sterling Silver wire for all my chain maille pieces. I then started incorporating semi precious and lampwork beads into my maille pieces.
I continue work with silver and gold plated wire with various beads in my fashion range of pieces.
Descriptions of pieces of work include inforamtion about the materials used for the piece.
I source all the materials I use from UK suppliers.
