Wicked Polish for Virtuous People
Once I decided I didn't want to spend hundreds on eBay on the latest limited edition polishes, I realized the only thing to do was to figure out how to make my own! I spent a lot of time looking at the supplies I purchased, scared to do things "wrong."
The first polish I sent out back in 2012 was Gangrene, and Gaby from Lacquerloon made it look so gorgeous on her long claws. I went to work the next day showing off my newest creation and sold my first polish at a dog show that weekend - I then launched the polish on Etsy and promptly sold out.
Bright, neon colors have always been a signature look for Wicked Polish, and probably always will be. I love vampy jewel tones as well, so now and then they make an appearance.
I took nearly two years off from polish when my father-in-law was diagnosed with ALS. I knew I couldn't travel and keep up with orders, or any of my other obligations, and my glitter sat ignored for quite some time.
I'm so thankful for every single person who has supported my polish endeavor - from my grandmother who believed in my dream enough to help me put a studio in my backyard, to my NAPOBS who have always stood by my side, my family for embracing my weird polish obsession, to my husband for pushing me to succeed. And most of all, I'm grateful for my sweet friends and customers who have supported my shop - THANK YOU!
