How Wild Aster Design was born

Hi there! I’m Susannah and I’m the face behind Wild Aster Design.
I started making earrings and jewelry when I was just a child. I cherish my memories of weekend trips with my mom to the bead store, and I remember coming home from school to start crafting earrings right away! Over the years, I dabbled in lots of different types of art – but I also had a growing fascination with the brain and how it works. That curiosity led me to become a neuroscientist, which is what I’m still doing today here in Massachusetts. Although I enjoy it, I missed my creative artistic side!
So one day, I ordered some supplies and drew up some earring designs. Thanks to a little time and a lot of encouragement from my husband, voila! Wild Aster Design was born.
I hope my earrings make you feel confident, beautiful, and fun. Wear in joy!
