A woolly haven.

Wild Faerie Caps specializes in one of a kind (OOAK) handspun yarns, spinning batts, and dyed fibers.

All fibers are dyed with professional acid dyes or natural materials and washed with unscented SOAK wool wash. Batts are carded on a standard Brother drum carder. Yarns are spun on Dervish, an Ashford Kiwi spinning wheel.

The humble studio space of Wild Faerie Caps is a cat friendly, smoke free sanctuary. The cats are kept out of all fibers, though their presence should be taken into consideration for extreme allergies.

Shop policies

I create each of my items with love and attention to detail. Please note that all yarns (especially wool) pill and fuzz to some degree with wear. I only use materials that I am comfortable using on my own children. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Please be aware - I live in a house with animals. They are kept away from my supplies and work. However, as anyone with animals knows, stray hairs are just a fact of life. I do my very best to ensure that those hairs stay in my house rather than in your mailbox.

Returns and exchanges
Please place your orders carefully. I generally don't like to accept refunds or exchanges. However, if there is something seriously wrong with your item upon delivery or I've made a mistake in some way, please contact me and we'll work something out.
I accept Paypal payments - mostly because that is what I am familiar with. If you'd like to inquire about another method of payment, please contact me.

Now accepting Bitcoins! Please contact me before purchasing to obtain the relevant information.
I try my best to ship my items within two business days of receiving payment. Sometimes life happens and things may be delayed a day or two - I will *always* contact you to let you know what is going on with your order. When possible I reuse packaging or buy recycled/recyclable envelopes.

In general I use the United States Postal Service to ship packages. Delivery confirmation is included in my shipping prices.

International shipping baffles me. If it turns out that I've charged you significantly more for postage than is necessary, I will happily refund the difference.
