5 out of 5 starsExceptionally lovely yarn in an eye catching dye shade. Beautifully spun and knits up like a dream. I’m a convert to Teeswater yarn and I find it lovely in the hand with gorgeous stitch definition. Repeat customer for a reason.

5 out of 5 starsRepeat customer….this is a fingering weight yarn in a true natural black. Beautifully milled and clean consistent skeins. It’s a pleasure to work with. I absolutely consider Wild Rose Farm first for any knitting needs.

4 out of 5 starsLove the feel and shine of this yarn. Also the color is a beautiful burnt orange with a very subtle red/orange heathering. You can knit this up either as light worsted or dk gauge. I will post pics after I start my scarf. My only complaint is this yarn was spun with a significant number of slubs (small unspun bits of wool). I don't think this will effect my project. Knitting large areas of stockette stitch, the slubs might be more visable - some people might like this more rustic look. I also bought a different yarn that was spun very even/smooth. Looking forward to buying more yarn from her.

5 out of 5 starsLovely soft/shiny yarn! Spun very evenly. The color is a warm pewter gray, the pics showed the true color. Looking forward to buying more yarn in the future. Will post pics when I start to knit with it.

40 Years a Process · Wild Rose Farm
At Wild Rose Farm, situated near Penn Cover on Whidbey Island in Washington, State, my husband Ken and I raise Heritage Breeds of English Longwool sheep - Wensleydale, Teeswater and Valais Blacknose. These sheep thrive in our northwest coastal environment producing incredibly strong, beautiful and lustrous wool.
Wild Rose Farm Fibers shop is the culmination and collaboration of much effort and varying skill. My husband and I raise the sheep and manage Wild Rose Farm. My daughter Amahra Leaman is our photographer, website designer and spear-header for getting our wool organized into our online shop.
In 2010, in a rare collaboration with Swans Island Blakets based in Northport, Maine, we have produced from our wool a line of Wild Rose Farm Blankets. These blankets and throws are all-natural and handwoven, designed to last a lifetime or more. They are truly heirlooms that can be passed down through generations. These blankets embody the old idea that the more care that goes into something, the better it will be. Held in these blankets' weave are the seasons and salt tinged air of Whidbey Island.
We have been raising sheep for over 40 years. They are special creatures that produce a very diverse and wonderful product. I am thankful for all of the hard work that my husband and I share on the farm, and to Swans Island for seeing the beauty in our wool and working with us to produce such beautiful handwoven blankets. To my daughter Amahra for her keen eye and diligence of documenting our product so tastefully, and to Stonehenge in Michigan and Spinderella in Utah, two mills who processes my wool into yarn and roving allowing me bring the results of this process to you.
