About

Taking a chance on something new.

I was sitting in the basement at a friend's. She was in the midst of starting up a shop at her Alpaca farm. I had just made a few spindles and sold them through Ravelry, and I wondered why I couldn't make this work on Etsy? I mean, why not try? She encouraged me to give it a shot, and here we are today.

I started with selling 5 spindles and moved on from there. I took a few side-trips along the way, selling various types of jewelry (both fiber and not-fiber related) and eventually settled on what you see in the shop today. Spindles and knitting notions.

I owe a lot to Ravelry and the multitudes of groups that helped support me, as well as the Phat Fiber group who gave me a lot of my initial exposure!

What does the future hold? Well, we'll have to see. I always have new ideas, its just reining them in long enough to see if they'll work...

Here at Wildcard I try to make beautiful, unique items for the Fiber Arts Community. I have too many interests to just choose one; hence the name Wildcard!

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
If payment is not received within a reasonable length of time, your order will be subject to cancellation. Items will not be shipped until payment has been received. If for some reason you make a purchase but need a few days before making the payment, please convo me and let me know. I'm willing to work with people as long as they keep an open line of communication- but silence will mean cancellation.
Shipping
All my items are shipped as safely as possible to ensure it gets to you in one piece. I will also be working to find the least expensive shipping options available so that I can pass those savings onto my customers. No one likes overpaying for shipping!

We are currently shipping on a once-a-week basis. All items ship first class with delivery confirmation unless you request otherwise.

If you need a faster delivery or different delivery method- please convo me! I'm willing to work with folks, but extra shipping fees may be applied to your order.
Refunds and Exchanges
All items will leave my studio in their best condition. If they arrive at your doorstep broken, please let me know and we'll see what we can do to fix the issue.

If an item breaks while in your care, I will not replace the item. You may contact me about fixing or replacing said item, and I will be glad to do so for a fee.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom Orders are always welcome! Especially on the jewelry. I have many, many ideas and thoughts and colors running through my mind and not enough time to do them. I have an entire rainbow of color at my fingertips and would be pleased to help set you up with the exact right piece.

Wholesale and Consignment inquires are welcome, though please be aware that this is a one-woman operation and I may be unable to fulfill incredibly large orders. But, contact me and we can talk.
