Willheit Shoppes is the brainchild of two sisters-in-law from Ohio, G. and A. Meyer. Our primary loves are jewelry making and decoupage, but we’re constantly exploring new creative outlets. We’ve enjoyed creating our jewelry, boxes, journals, and other goods , and hope that you’ll enjoy them for years to come.

These policies are here to help us start off on the right foot, and if you have any further questions, please contact us! I promise, we don’t bite.

Additional policies and FAQs
1. Do you offer any repair services?

We do offer some repair services:

JEWELRY – We offer free restringing of all jewelry. Simply send it back in a padded envelope and we will restring it and mail it back to you ASAP; you only have to cover the cost of sending it to us.

The cost of other repairs will be done on a case-by-case basis, depending on the extent of the damage.

COPTIC BOUND JOURNALS – If something happens to your binding but the covers are intact, send it back and we’ll rebind it for free. Just pay to ship it to us. A fee may be charged to replace covers or signatures.

2. Do you take custom orders?

Indeed we do! We’re happy to do boxes or Coptic-bound booklets for special occasions, such as weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, new babies, or holidays. We are also willing to create custom jewelry for individuals or groups, such as bridal parties. Please convo us with your request.

The time it takes to complete your order varies with product. We’ll keep you informed as your order progresses.

Once completed, it will be placed under a “RESERVED” listing and you will be contacted.

3. Are there any restrictions on what can be put on a box or journal?

Artwork and photography for custom ordered boxes and journals will either be original to A. or G. Meyer or must be provided by you. For original artwork for boxes and journals, A. is willing to discuss most requests, so long as the request doesn’t involve anything that would have to be rated NC-17 or higher, qualify as copyright infringement, or violate the Etsy TOS. She reserves the right to display any resulting artwork in her gallery or portfolio.

We will not accept any requests that involve violating copyright, which means no fan art, celebrity likenesses, or work from other artists or photographers that is not in the public domain. You must hold the copyright to any work you provide (which means you either created the artwork, took the photo, or have proof of permission to use it, such as a release from the photographer or artist).

We reserve the right to turn down any requests, but that doesn’t mean you can’t ask.

4. How should I take care of my new box/journal/etc?

JEWELRY – Our jewelry is lovingly strung and worked by hand. When not in use, it should be stored out of the light to prevent damage. I do not recommend wearing any of our jewelry while showering, swimming, etc., as the metal or thread used for stringing may become weakened, causing breakage. To help dissuade stretching of beaded pieces, consider storing flat rather than hung. Avoid tangling and pulling as this may cause damage and prevent repair.

BOXES – Our boxes have been sealed with Mod Podge for extra durability, but they are meant as indoor decor. Occasionally dust with a soft dry cloth. If needed, use a damp rag or paper tower. Please do not use a wet rag or soak the box, as that will damage it.

For boxes with suede paper linings, avoid wetness on the lining. A lint roller works well for lined bottoms.

JOURNALS – Our Coptic-bound journals have been hand-bound with embroidery floss. The binding is meant to allow the journal to lay flat on any page with ease, but avoid twisting the covers. These are paper products, so also avoid contact with water, hot chocolate, and other liquids.

5. What if I have other questions about your policies, specific products, etc.?

If you have any questions that weren't answered here, please feel free to contact us, and we'll be happy to answer them.
