WindfallArts

Earthy Eclectic Pottery

WindfallArts is taking a short break.

Windfall Arts will return sometime in 2015, hopefully spring.

I am making some new things I'm really excited about! For a preview, see my blog at http://windfallarts.com; for a sense of my past work, check out my sold listings (http://goo.gl/rhNWXU).

Thanks for stopping by!

WindfallArts' Shop Announcement

Vibrant, earthy, useful pottery, handmade in St. Louis, Missouri, each piece individually made and therefore one-of-a-kind. Functional works are fully food-safe and lead-free, and can be put in the microwave and dishwasher. I use stoneware and porcelain clays and high-fire my pieces, making them very durable.

Many of my designs are made by pressing handmade vintage lace into the clay, effectively making them collaborations between me and some artist of the past; I like it this way. I'm only here because of the work of many artists, past and present, known and unknown.

*Since I became a full-time mother and a very-very-part-time potter, this shop has suffered a bit. I can't keep it as stocked up as I like, or write back everyone who asks if I can make more of such-and-such a thing or glaze in another color. Sorry, folks. The answer is usually no, at least right now. If I do have something you ask for, I'll try to write you back!*
