WingDust Collections... All things creative :)
I can't explain the shop before first explaining what a "WingDust" is...
It's that beautiful, shimmery powder that is left on your fingertips after you've held a butterfly in your hand and it's wings brush against your fingers.
The day after my birthday is the anniversary of the death of someone I held very dear to my life, Cara.
She was beautiful and talented and funny as heck- we had some great adventures together. The day she died, and around the same time of day she was leaving this world, I was walking down a quiet dirt road after having a pretty rough day- or so I thought. I came across a beautiful, broken Monarch laying in the gravel and dirt. I didn't understand the significance of it but I cried over it and brought it home with me.
When I finally got home was when I heard the news about the car accident. What made it harder to hear was that I'd seen her the day before, jogging by my birthday party of friends and family, and I hadn't invited her in.
It's become one of the biggest regrets of my life that I allowed bitterness over something unimportant to rob me of that time I didn't realize we didn't have.
So now I guess everything beautiful or good that I try to achieve is an effort to capture moments -create beauty- and dedicated to a life that probably would have changed the world if she'd been given the chance.
Live every day like it's your last, it can become a cliche to say and it sometimes loses it's meaning, but it's never been more true!
Now about the shop itself!
My main reason for opening up was not to promote a line of nail-polish, it was originally to list some of my photographs in hopes that the income would help with the funds needed for our missions trip.
Somewhere in the middle of all that I met my beautiful and slightly crazy co-worker, Ms. Hailey, and she proceeded to introduce me to the world of nail polish... and I was hooked! The rest seems to be history!
The response to the nail polishes I've created so far has been so suprising and exciting! It might just be a bottle of pretty lacquer to you but one dollar at a time those bottles are getting our team closer and closer to our $goal for Zambia... so now you understand why I'm so thankful for all the sales that have come through :)
So thank thank thank you for your support and encouragement, it is greatly appreciated!
- Stephanie :)

Additional policies and FAQs
It is important to note that I use a glitter suspension base, but even still there may be some settling of glitters. I recommend giving your polish a good shake and setting it upside down to rest for a minute or two.
