Wints Prints began unofficially while planning my wedding in 2012. It was the beginning of a new era. As I embarked on this journey, husband in tow, I had the desire to help others create something beautiful for all their big moments; weddings, new babies, birthday parties & even adoptions of their furry family members.
But before all that, I studied graphic design at a small state school in Western, MA. I was eager to learn all there was to know about print & design. I loved being in the classroom all day, pouring my creative self into everything I touched. After college it took me a while to land a "real job" as graduation day fell right in the middle of the recession. I was a professional diaper changer & potty trainer for three years, before I landed my big gig in the construction industry.
Construction is fast-paced, where no means yes & work days average about 14 hours. It taught me a lot, not just about building great structures, but building great relationships & providing great customer service. In between writing and designing graphics about geothermal wells, glass curtain walls and steel beams, I was dying to let my inner girl shine through, I needed to make something pretty. After 4 years, I said goodbye to construction & a store was born.
