Announcement   ♥ Here at Spirit of the Sea we have Hand Crafted Jewelry in a range of styles. I work in Genuine Sea Glass as well as raw Gemstones and Found objects, such as black glass buttons from my large collection.. I am probably best known for my unique style of wire wrapping and weaving which had won a number of awards and appeared in numerous Jewelry and Beading Magazines. I start with a 1 yard piece of wire and it grows from there---guided by the stones or glass the piece just takes form on it's own. I use only round nose pliers and cutters---and never a pattern!

In all honestly I was disappointed with this tutorial, the pictures are to far back and NOT CLEAR so there are no "Closeup" visuals. In fact I was frustrated trying to learn this weave and this tut only made it worse

The diagrams really solve that problem--it's an easy weave- just needs a little concentration for the first two rounds!

About

Sea Glass Treasures that help memories last a lifetime!

I am a devoted Sea Glass enthusiast. I began collecting sea glass on Maryland's Eastern shore over 30 years ago. Like everyone else, I collected the glass and put it in jars and dishes --and smiled at it. My collection soon outgrew the beach cottage and I finally decided to add sea glass to my beaded jewelry. I wanted my Sea Glass Jewelry to be different from everyone else's and I developed my unique wire wrapping technique specifically for my sea glass in 2008. One of my early creations was featured in Bead Style Magazine in May 2012. Another piece won as a finalist in Fire Mountain Gems Jewelry Making Contest-Wire-2012 and was featured in Fire Mountains ad on the back of Jewelry Affaire- Autumn 2013. I am entirely self taught and am constantly tweeking my style. I use only genuine sea glass--mostly found by myself and my family. We are avid cruisers and enjoy combing the Caribbean beaches for our sea glass treasures.
We cherish the time spent beachcombing for these tiny pieces of glass..
I am very thankful to my customers, and etsy, for this opportunity to share my finds which I hope to have made even more enjoyable with my jewelry creations.

I am a member (and past Board member) of the North American Sea Glass Association.
I am also a member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsman and the Chester County Art Association. I have taught my techniques at the renowned Philadelphia Bead Fest.

We are pleased to offer our Sea Glass Jewelry on Etsy. All pieces are crafted by hand from sea glass found by us on the beaches of the US East Coast, Bermuda, the Caribbean and Puerto Rico. We use genuine sea glass--tumbled by the waves. We do not purchase any glass and use only what we have found ourselves. Most of our glass is paired with Sterling Silver. Some features fresh water pearls from Margarita Island. Venezuela. When you are purchasing, you can be sure you will receive the exact item pictured as each piece is one of a kind and we do not mass produce our product.

Refunds and Exchanges
Window Shopping on the internet can be expensive--the shopper would be required to pay shipping in both directions and it is really not recommended. Therefore, all sales are considered final so we would ask that you be certain of what you are ordering before purchasing by asking any pertinent questions and perhaps requesting additional pictures. We are more than happy to help with your concerns. If there is a problem with any purchase, please contact us immediately so we can rectify the situation. Shipping damages are resolved by filing a claim with the carrier--not by returning the item.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are welcome--please contact us with your ideas.
Wholesale inquiries are welcome--but a tax number will be required. Wholesale discounts are not available for small orders of 1-4 pieces.
