About

Enjoying The Journey

Life has taken me down many roads. I started out like many artist do, experimenting with creativity through different mediums. I dabbled in many other art forms such as stained glass, painting, writing and singing. I always ended up gravitating towards jewelry design. Maybe it's the Magpie in me, or maybe it's just my "true north".

I am a self taught artist. My designs have been featured in Arts On Liberty art gallery in NC. as well as local boutiques. My bead shop has been featured in many major beading magazines over the years.

I believe in giving back to the community. I teach jewelry design to local teenagers. I believe that creativity is as essential to life as taking in nourishment. It needs to be shared and passed on. I love watching that first spark in a new designer's eye. That first flame of passion for the craft. It's a beautiful thing to behold!

If you asked me 10 years ago what I would be doing today, I would have never have said owning a business, doing something I am passionate about and getting paid for it! I am truly blessed! I love that we don't get to see the whole picture. Only glimpses of the path that we are currently on.

Oh, the kid in the picture? He's mine. Amazingly and wonderfully mine. He's the reason behind all of this!
