Jewelry and ritual tools from copper, crystal, and herbs. Inspired by nature, folklore, and witchcraft.

I handcraft items to be a beautiful and functional part of your practice. I find copper electroforming to be an absolutely magical process, dipping items into my cauldron and pulling out an amazing copper piece is exciting every single time. I hope you find something that you love!

Frequently asked questions
Will the necklace or chain discolor my skin?

Both my pendants and the chains I include are made of copper, which can slightly discolor skin after long periods of wear. This is due to the way copper tarnishes and is not harmful to your skin.

The pendants and chains are both sealed to help prevent this, and to maintain the original patina, but the sealant can wear away over time and allow the copper to tarnish, especially at friction points. If you notice this happening, you can reseal the copper portions (I don't recommend sealing the stones) with a thin application of renaissance wax.

What is Electroforming?

All of my pieces are created through a process called electroforming. This is a method similar to plating, where each piece is suspended in a copper solution, electricity is applied, and copper is slowly deposited onto the item. The final product is a really unique organic look, as the copper can deposit in really interesting ways and make all sorts of textures!

Each piece takes anywhere from 12 to 24 hours to fully plate. Once the piece is fully done being plated, it is smoothed and polished, patina is applied, and then I seal the copper portions to help preserve the patina.

Will the copper patina last forever?

Each of my items starts out at bright copper, like a new penny. My finishing process then includes applying a patina to darken the copper, and sealing the piece to preserve that look for as long as possible.

Copper cannot be permanently sealed, so eventually the sealant may wear away at friction points. This can do a few things, if the friction is constant it can rub away the patina layer and brighten the copper again, and then the bright copper will naturally darken to a more antique look.

I find this to be lovely, as every single item will stay unique to its owner, but you can always reseal the copper with a thin layer of renaissance wax, which shouldn't really be needed more than once a year. I do not recommend sealing the stones.

Caring for copper jewelry

Always remove your jewelry before showering or swimming. If your item does get wet, dry it gently with a soft cloth and let it completely air dry before wearing. Most of my stones will not be damaged by a short exposure to water, but some stones are fragile and could be damaged if left wet (kyanite is a good example).

Another great thing to do is gently wipe the item with a soft cloth after wearing, this helps remove any oil or residue from your skin and can help prevent some oxidation.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I use 100% recycled shipping materials.

I personally love opening beautiful packaging, so all jewelry is carefully packed in a hand stamped presentation box, and carefully padded with tissue to keep it safe. I’m always happy to include a special note or gift receipt with your order, just leave a comment at checkout and I’ll do my best to accommodate!

Some larger items like candle scribes are too large for a presentation box and will be shipped carefully wrapped in tissue inside a shipping box.

I don’t generally send packing slips, to prevent waste, but if you’d like one as a receipt just let me know in your order notes.

Can I choose a different chain length?

Absolutely, just add a note to your order with the chain length that you’d like! The longest length I can offer currently is 24”. If there’s no note on your order (or I haven’t specified a different length in the listing) your necklace will ship with a 24” chain.
