Love the scarf!! Shannon made me a custom order infinity scarf. She gave me different options of yarn type and guided me through the perfect length. She is very helpful and loves what she does!!

About

Hooked on Creating

I first started crocheting as a young gal. I would spend hours creating long chains and eventually worked my way to awkward and mismatched scarves. After much practice, I was thrilled to finally make items that were even and strong! Everyone in my family got scarves for Christmas that year that I finally mastered my crochet gauge. I continued the craft here and there through highschool but did not expand to new patterns until my sophomore year of college, where I fine toned my skills and explored new techniques. I remember the first time I learned to crochet in the round- I had been making a penguin amigurumi for my now husband. I was so enthralled that I started on another amigurumi right after! In the past years I have been working on my craft, always challenging myself and trying new things, including learning to knit.

Once I graduated from Penn State (WE ARE!) I resolved to always find time for my hobby. Crocheting has always brought me a great sense of accomplishment and joy and pulled me out of moments in my life where I felt stagnant. Opening an etsy shop was a great way to keep this hobby alive in my life. I love the idea of making unique pieces, each crafted with love and attention, and sending them out to people who will get good use out of them. In our world overrun with mass produced accessories and toys, it's important to remember and cherish those special items made with an artist's own two hands. Each piece takes hours to make, and that makes it all the more important.

I hope you enjoy my crocheted creations as much as I enjoyed making them! I hope to continue challenging myself and one day create my own set of patterns.

Crocheting is creating. I learned the art as a little girl from my ma. When I grab yarn and my hook, I feel productive and fulfilled. It's amazing to see a ball of yarn turn into a scarf, pretty hat, even a cute critter.
