Com Sunshine começou por acidente. Eu tinha interesse em costurar mas não conhecia uma bobina de um pé de prensa e não ajudava que eu nem tivesse uma máquina de costura.

Quando meu marido e eu estávamos visitando a avó dele e ela estava passando pelo armário de lixo e puxamos um irmão modelo básico que nunca tinha sido aberto! Ela me disse que ia se livrar dele e sabia que eu estava procurando comprar um, então ela me deu!

Não é bom? Esse foi provavelmente o melhor presente que alguém me deu, além do dom de Deus da minha família, é claro. De qualquer forma, passei o ano seguinte me ensinando, através de tentativa e erro e MUITOs tutoriais na internet, como usar minha máquina para fazer roupas para meus filhos e seus primos.

Então outro presente de uma máquina de costura mais nova realmente mudou as coisas completamente. Eu passei de ser limitado a pontos retos e em ziguezague para ser capaz de fazer todos os tipos de coisas maravilhosas.

Quando comecei a usar minha nova máquina, não consegui parar e acabei ganhando tanto que sabia que precisava de uma tomada que me permitisse vender meus produtos artesanais.

Então eu abri uma loja etsy que eu acabei fechando porque eu fiquei desencorajado de nenhuma venda depois de um mês. Meu marido me encorajou a começar outro quase um ano depois e viemos com minha nova loja Com Sunshine.

With Sunshine started by accident. I had an interest in sewing but didn't know a bobbin from a presser foot and it didn't help that I didn't even have a sewing machine.

When my husband and I were visiting his grandmother and she was going through her junk closet and pulled out a basic model brother that had never even been opened! She told me she was going to get rid of it and knew that I had been looking into buying one, so she gave it to me!

How nice is that? That was probably the best gift anyone has given me, besides God's gift of my family of course. Anyways, I spent the next year teaching myself, through trial and error and LOTS of internet tutorials, how to use my machine to make clothing for my children and their cousins.

Then another gift of a newer sewing machine really changed things completely. I went from being limited to straight and zigzag stitches to being able to do all kinds of wonderful things.

Once I started using my new machine, I couldn't stop and I ended up making so much that I knew I needed an outlet that would allow me to sell my handmade goods.

So I opened an Etsy shop that I ultimately ended up closing because I became discouraged from no sales after a month. My husband encouraged me to start another one almost an entire year later and we came up with my new shop With Sunshine.
