A little about me:
My passions have always been working with my hands to create beautiful art and helping animals. For a long time I struggled between my passions of art and animals until one day I decided I needed a way to do both. That's when I created Jewelry Saving Lives. A place I can bring beautiful handcrafted jewelry to the world and help animals in need.
JSL started in 2015 and our core missions are still as true as day 1:
- Provide the highest quality products at the lowest prices possible
- Everything is handcrafted in the USA. We don't work with any factories or major companies!
- All gemstones are natural and ethically sourced!
- We always donate at least 10% of profits to animal rescue.
- Everything is eco-friendly. We strive to end company waste and create a business that can truly be sustainable.

Shipping Delays

However unfortunate, shipping delays do occur whilst in the hands of the USPS. Etsy's policies states,

"Etsy doesn't hold sellers responsible for shipping delays or errors. If the item was shipped and has a tracking number, you may be able to contact the shipping carrier directly to open a claim."

Please know once we drop the package off at the USPS it is out of our hands and we are not held responsible for any delays, loss of items, and items that are broken in transit. We are more than happy to help you with your purchase but the quickest way to get shipping questions answered is by going directly to the source and calling the USPS.

Message reply time

Our goal is to get every message answered within 24 hrs on weekdays. We work from 8am - 10pm each day so we strive to get your messages answered same day, even if it's late at night. However, my top priority is always getting orders out asap! Since I make every piece per order there can be message delays due large order fulfillment and holidays. We ask that you please be patient and I will always respond within a 24-48 hr weekday time frame even in our busiest of times. I take weekends off to be with my family so I do not reply to messages on Saturday & Sunday.

It's the weekend and I haven't gotten a reply

I commonly get asked why people are not getting answers on the weekends. I take weekends off to be with my family but I will reply to weekend messages first thing Monday morning and all other inquiries between 8am - 10pm on weekdays.

Refunds & Exchanges

When it comes to shopping small, ethics are a top priority and we thank you for supporting a small business. These items are handmade with love and a lot of patience. In the world of small business, we make sacrifices for our art and our labor. Offering refunds on all products is very much a luxury afforded to bigger stores that cut corners and don't spend time on the labor of building the product. With handmade goods, a return cannot easily be resold because they are made to order for you specifically and we cannot get the time back we spent building your product. Because of this we do not allow refunds on all items but do allow exchanges of equal or lesser value. Please see the exchange section for more details.

Exchange/Return Fees

We are happy to say we have waived our exchange fee and are now providing free exchanges!

Any Exchange/Refund MUST be approved before it is mailed to us. If an item is mailed back to us without approval first the item will be returned to the buyer at the buyer's expense.

Most items do not require a return fee, however, all Diamonds and select solid gold items will be charged a 10% restocking fee.

We do not refund for exchange price differences.

We do not refund shipping costs or international taxes/fees.

Please reach out to us for any specific questions regarding exchanges and returns.

Exchange Conditions

The exchange has to be approved before the item is mailed back. If an item is mailed back to us without us accepting the terms of the exchange the customer will be responsible to pay for shipping to get the item back.

The item must be in perfect condition when it is returned to us. If an item is damaged when we receive it the customer will be responsible for any loss in value. This includes any additional cost to fix the item or replace any missing broken pieces etc. If the item is returned beyond repair the customer is responsible for paying for a whole new item at full price.

We are not liable for any items lost during transit.

Gemstone Certifications

The low price and high quality is part of the secret sauce to my business you could say. I found an amazing father and son team from Thailand who work with gem miners. These miners mine for the clear perfect gemstones and sell the opaque (and more beautiful in my opinion) ones for a great price!

However, certifying a gemstone is extremely costly and time consuming. Each certification averages between $150 - $250 and if we got them all certified we wouldn't be able to keep our prices so low.

We do have a select group of items that do come certified though so if you are curious which stones are and aren't certified just send us a message! We are also able to get some stones certified upon request.

Taking Care of Your Gold Filled Jewelry

Gold filled jewelry is a wonderful and more affordable option than solid gold jewelry, but does require a bit more care of use. Please read this link and follow the instructions when wearing your gold filled jewelry. Please note, if you follow these steps your gold filled jewelry will last a very long time and we are not responsible for any damage or wearing off of the gold.

Solid Gold Returns/Exchanges

We do not allow any returns/exchanges on solid gold items at this time. Solid gold is much more costly to make than silver or gold fill and to keep selling our solid gold items at such low prices we have to keep our gold productions costs low. In order to do that all gold sales are made just for you and are final.
