These pods looked wonderful in the photos, but the photos didn't really do them justice. They are beautiful and whimsical, and the ear wires are very unique. Love these!

All who wander are not lost
and I have wandered all my life looking into this and that.....
The pictures above are supposed to be about letting you look into my workspace. My workspace however, or rather my corner of the garage is not something you really want to see:). We are constructing a room in the garage that I longingly and lovingly refer to as "my studio". When it is finished perhaps I'll share a picture.
More importantly to me is that you get to see the wonderful wild creatures I have the honor of sharing this small piece of earth with. Wits End is my home and home to the things that bring me peace and quiet my mind......
My shop "started" a very long time ago. I have almost always had my hand into something crafty. I've been through dried flower arranging, macrame, folk dolls, sketching, painting (murals or themes rather than canvas) and stenciling, some scrapbooking and a few other little things.
My jewelry passion started when I acquired a passion for pearls. I started buying and wearing pearls. One day I thought to myself "I can do this for a lot less" so I 'googled' and 'you tubed' until I had the basics.
Once I started handknotting pearls I wanted to try earrings and that is when I was bitten big time by beads, specifically those miniature works of art known as lampwork beads. I went a little nuts after that and now I have my own Etsy shop.
There is much more I want to do though. I have taken a lampwork class and want to try my hand at making my own lampwork beads. My husband (Barry, the love of my life) is building a craft room in the garage for me right now. Working with a torch requires adequate ventilation and so we are creating a space for me to work safely.
I still work full time and will have to for quite awhile so it can be very hard to find the time to really feed my creative side.
In addition to lampworking I also want to do metal work, enameling, lost wax casting and on and on.......
I am very excited about the future and cannot wait to see what I get into.
