I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Restless Leg Syndrome in 2020. I started experiencing excruciating pain around the age of 9 but could never find answers as to why. My pediatrician at the time said it was just growing pains……however I didn’t really grow. 🤣 I’m 4.11’

Finally being diagnosed was comforting because now I know where my pain is coming from. But there’s no cure and doctors don’t seem to know a whole lot about it. My doctor used google right in front of me 🤦‍♀️.

I’ve realized that there’s such a great community out there online with fellow spoonies!!! I’ve learned so much from them over the years. If you have recently been diagnosed, I strongly recommend seeking out these communities. You’ll learn so much more from those with similar experiences.

I didn’t even know about Fibromyalgia until I was diagnosed. That is why I want to spread awareness. There is so much stigma around chronic illnesses. People need to know more about these conditions. To understand what it’s like and to fight for a cure. We need everybody!!! Not just those with a diagnosis. Anyone can help spread awareness 💖

As an artist by nature, I love to create. I’m a big gift giver!!!! And what I love most is hand making my gifts. They’re more sentimental and personal that way.
