My name is Debra Estep. I currently live in the Southeast and I work in watercolor, digital art and assemblages. My work is mostly centered around lore and symbolism that focuses on the human condition at its darkest and most flawed. I also try to appreciate that our flaws connect us and in that connection is a lot of hope. I write fiction and fantasy short stories and will incorporate my love of storytelling into comics and illustrations I work on. I tend to move from dark art that is starkly symbolic to work that centers on enjoying the simple act of creating something. Change and the beauty of patterns are my biggest inspiration. I hope that some of my work connects with something in you.
