Absolutely in love, such a unique and well crafted piece. The shipping took a bit longer than expected, but more than understandable as it was ordered just before the christmas and new years public holidays and breaks. So happy with my purchase and will treasure this piece for many years to come :)

These earrings are a perfect match to a pendant that I purchased at a tent event. The vendor said she made the pendant herself, but when I saw these earrings - I wonder if this person didn't actually make the pendant as they are so closely made! I love these earrings and I receive many compliments when I wear them!

What Do I Do Now?

I lived in a trailer park in Lubbock, Texas as a small child, before moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico. I've always been a creative person. In school, it was art classes and choir. In college, it was a degree in Drawing from Arizona State University. That's when I discovered acting. My love. My life. My whole being. I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream. Once there, I gradually worked my way through the industry and found myself working in production on TV shows. After almost two years on a top show, I was injured on the job in 2008, tearing up my ankle, and unable to continue working. What do I do now? I fell back on what I knew...I found my creativity again. While recovering from surgery, I started purchasing stones on eBay. Big ones, small ones...whatever caught my fancy. I also decided to learn the art of chainmaille. I bought books. I searched online. I had FUN!! Then, I began to wonder if there was a way to combine these beautiful stones with my new skill. So, I began buying books on wire wrapping. I searched online. I had MORE FUN!! Once my idea of how to combine the two wire techniques blossomed, I searched for others who were combining wire wrapped stones and chainmaille. Low and behold, there weren't any!! And in 2011 I bought my first house. With an Arizona room. And I turned it into a studio. And I created. And created. And created. Then I listed my creations here on Etsy. Now, some years later, my pieces have found their way all over the globe, and my designs help support my stage acting (yes, I've gotten back into theatre), and I've also found that a few others have been inspired by my techniques and used them to create their own styles. I feel blessed that my ideas could inspire others. Who knew a little trailer park kids from Lubbock, TX would grow up to inspire creativity in others? :-D

My jewelry philosophy is the creation of wearable art. I search for semi-precious stones that "speak to me", and then let a design form that accentuates the stone and presents it in its best light.
My stained glass philosophy is one of "non-traditional use of materials". Usually, stained glass is a two dimensional panel viewed through the light of a window. I like to create three dimesional objects, such as picture frames and candle holders that give a person not only something to view, but something to touch and view from different angles.
