I am curious by nature. All my life I've delved into many interests and passions. Art, drama, reading, writing, travel, history, and the list goes on. Cabinets of curiosities, wonder-rooms, and the passionate people who created them inspired my wonder concept for the store. I am a confirmed generalist in the age of specialists. So you will discover whatever catches my fancy as I write and create designs for products and uncover beautiful and interesting vintage items. You just never know what may show up in my virtual wonder-rooms.

I Hear You Have Some Dogs?
Dogs? Oh yes, dogs. I recently lost two of my faithful friends after 17 1/2 years so I'm down to six dogs and one cat. Let's see, there's Max the Great Pyrenees, Freddie the happy-g-lucky Maltese, Charlie the Snoring Pug, HoneyBunn (the Baby) the Mi-Ki, and my two younger rescues: Sienna, the teenage short Lab mix, and Jenny, the elegant terrier mix. They are a motley crew who, I am sure, are related to the sloth family for they are confirmed couch-huggers. So yes, all you dog lovers and cat lovers make sure you come back as they are truly inspirational. I do love them all.

What About My Designs?
My ideas come in a creative rush. The words flow into a river of designs. They come in all shapes and sizes. I love this stage of my life where I'm able to explore the full range of my creativity. It's just plain fun—and now it's so easy to share. (Thank you, Etsy.)

Allowing my creativity the freedom to release my designs into the world is a bit like how a mother eagle readies her eaglets for their time to fly. The urge to release and share is strong but often you have to hover over that idea and allow it to mature. Whatever the length of the process, flight day is exciting and absolutely scary. You always want your little eaglets to fly, so it's a delight when someone else finds them just as endearing as you do and wants to gather them home.

Whether my design products are minimal and simple in design or lush with color and a kaleidoscope of elements, they reflect a part of me. At the same time, I hope that you will find the various vintage items as interesting as I do. Frankly, the first wonder is that I finally have my Etsy store opened—and on April Fool's Day. (Who says God doesn't have a sense of humor?)
