About

What is a Wondersmith?

Just as a goldsmith uses gold as a material, I use the medium of wonder to shape my work. It is my goal to share magic with others by writing about everyday magic to enhance our connections to ourselves, our community, and the glorious natural world of the Pacific Northwest.

Events: I occasionally gift free events all over the Pacific Northwest and share them through the medium of surprise - you never know when or where I will pop up next! Sometimes I hide my invitations in the woods to be discovered by lucky hikers, sometimes I tuck them into books for people looking for answers, sometimes I create treasure hunts posted on social media… and each time, the event is completely free to my guests. These curiosity-fueled experiences are full of wild flavor, handcrafted art, and carefully curated ceremony. You can see past events at thewondersmith.com/events

Writing: I share the magic of the everyday through regular blog posts intended to highlight wild plants, meaningful ceremonies, and writings about our shared humanity. You can read my blog at thewondersmith.com/blog

Community: I engage with a community of like-minded generous people through my Patreon page, where donors can support my mission by contributing a set monetary amount every month for the price of a cup of coffee. I thank them for their kindness through various rewards including secret recipes and nature mandala downloads. You can learn more and join our community at patreon.com/thewondersmith
