I have been making jewelry since 2001, either for myself or to give as gifts. I compromise on the things that I know don't matter to me, and pass the savings on to you! For example, I rarely use sterling silver as it is much more expensive and I have found that silver plated findings look just as good and don't tarnish as quickly. I rarely use plastic beads (and will disclose if I do) and I always use real Swarovski crystals. They are so much nicer looking than the fakes.
A few years ago I started doing my own clothes dying to create color combinations that I couldn't find in stores. Then I discovered Ice dye! I just love the way the color swirl together in unique patterns that make each piece one-of-a-kind. So I scour the stores and the internet for white cotton clothes in cute styles and dye them pretty colors.
In 2016, I grew frustrated with the usual boring beads and I started making my own glass beads. I am still learning, but some of them turn out pretty great and I would only use the great ones in my jewelry to sell. I love love making my own color combinations to match the clothes and crystals!
All of my beads are properly annealed in a kiln, which brings me to item #4 - kiln formed glass decor. Since I bought a kiln to anneal beads, I decided to start using it to make glass things like ornaments, jewelry (dichroic pendants! Yum!), and various decor items. Again, I am still learning, but it's so fun!

Additional policies and FAQs
If you don't see the size or color you want, please ask and some items can be custom made per your request. Custom orders take 6-8 weeks. If you have a cotton clothing item you already own that you want me to dye, I will try my best to get the color combo you request, but there are no guarantees. Colors affect varying fabric densities and textures differently.

I often model my own shirts. For reference, I am 5'4", weigh 145 lbs, and usually wear a large (sz 10-12) top and size 8 pants. I will include model's size in the description, since sizes vary.

All hand dyed items are washed several times in hot water during and after the dying process. They should not shrink, regardless of how you wash them. Although I do my best to remove all excess dye, colors may bleed-especially the more vibrant colors. I recommend washing separately.

Frequently asked questions
Sizing details

I cannot provide a sizing chart as I dye all brands and sizes. If you see something you want and you want to know whether it will fit you, I suggest going to a sizing chart on the manufacturer's (or brand's) website. I also try to include measurements in my listings. Measurements are take from one side seam to the other across the front, and from the top of the shoulder to the hem. If there is another measurement you would fine helpful, just ask and I'd be happy to provide it.

If the clothes you buy do not fit, I will accept returns (per my shop's policy), but you must pay the return shipping.

Care instructions

While all ice-dyed clothing is washed in hot before and after dying, and the dye is set with Soda Ash Fixer.

I use all Fiber Reative Procion dyes, and this type of dye, properly set, fades very little. I also wash all clothing at least twice in hot after dying and use Dharma professional textile detergent both before (to remove impurities from the fabric) and after dying.

I DO, however, strongly recommend that ice-dyed clothing be washed separately from other clothes for the first several washings. While I do my best to get any unset dye out of the cloth, there is still some residual dye that will bleed out for 3-5 washings and could stain your other clothes. It can be washed in hot water to get this unset dye out.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I do not offer gift wrapping or packaging, but if you really want something special, it doesn't hurt to ask.
