I wish I had feedback on the font and clip that I chose. I asked for the letter "J" on my tie clip and it doesn't really look like the letter "J". It would have been okay if it was part of a name but the letter by itself looks like a marking on the tie clip and not a nice engraved letter. Had I known, I would have chosen a different letter or engraved an entire name. Also, I went with the smaller size thinking it would work for skinnier ties. Not really knowing much about tie sizes, the clip looks really small and I wish I chose the regular size. In then end, the clip is really small and it looks like I have a black damaged line on it. At this point, not sure if I even want to give it away as a gift... :(

I wish you had given me the opportunity to help you, but unfortunately you never contacted me regarding this problem . You never requested my feedback and I even contacted you to confirm and make sure that you just wanted the letter "J" in the font you asked , you replied saying that was what you wanted. Regarding the clip size I did tell you that the smallest size was for skinny ties, hundreds of people have bought that size for skinny ties and I even wear them with no problem being too small. I wish I could post pictures of our conversations because you are blaming me for something that is not my fault and this is not fair. :-(

Love wood, the smell, the different colors and uniqueness of every piece.

I grew up in Mexico, 60 miles south of Tonala, Which is best known as a major handcrafts center for Jalisco. I remember going to Tonala as a young boy and seeing all the handcrafted pieces , looking at the creativity of the artisans that created things out of the unexpected. I always wanted to create stuff , to make things that would serve a purpose . As a teenager I Came to the states and started a new journey here. One of the persons that have much influenced me was my dad, and my good friend, he taught me a good work ethic , he was the most hardworking person I ever met. He worked until his last day on this earth.

I began to do woodwork back in 2010. But have been using tools right out of high school, when I got a job with a construction company. We built hundreds of houses throughout the central coast. Then I left to do property maintenance and for several years I didn't built anything from wood until I needed a pair of bookends. I wanted two Hebrew letters and searched the web with no success. I was exhausted from searching so I decided to make them myself. I started buying tools , lots of tools , watching videos online, and reading books. Few weeks latter I had my first fine woodwork project completed. And that's how all started, then I began making pens and the list began to grow. I now try to offer gifts for all ages , things that are use on a daily basis, things that will serve you many years. I love everything that is handcrafted and being an artisan myself I appreciate all the work and skill that goes into each piece created. I hope that you enjoy the things I make as much as I enjoy making them. Please take a look at my shop and if you have any questions send me a message and I will be happy to answer them.

Refunds and Exchanges
No refunds on custom orders, or engraved items, unless you receive a damaged item. You need to be very specific about how you want your engraving or custom order, if you misspelled a word or put extra words or characters , it's not my fault and I can't refund your order. Engraving is done by a third party and they engrave what you request. Now, if the mistake is on my part then I will send you a new one(same as the one you purchased) at my own cost.

If you simply don't like the item or changed your mind I can refund your money but shipping will not be refunded. You are responsible for sending the item/s back to me and providing a tracking number . Once your item is received, I will issue your refund.
Item must me in the same condition as received, you need to understand that I need to sell it again. If the item looks used then I can't sell it, I would take it back(within the 14 day return period) but can't give you a full refund.

Wood is like human beings, every piece is different and unique, and some of my items don't have the actual photo of the item you will receive, it would be time consuming to photograph every piece sold. Be aware that wood will always look different from the pictures I have. That is grain and color.

I also work with reclaimed wood, meaning that I save wood from the trash cans of cabinet/furniture making shops. The wood may have imperfections and or holes .

I make everything by hand and use the less power tools possible, so if you don't like something because it "doesn't look perfect," well maybe handmade things are not what you are looking for :-). I try to do my best on every piece I make and if I don't like it I don't sell it, but remember I'm a human I don't have the precision and accuracy of a machine:-)

Returns or exchange within 14 days of received order. Must be in the same condition that you received it with original packing.

Thanks for your understanding.
