WoodlandCottage's Shop Announcement

Although it's still cold out there, we can feel the promise of spring just around the corner. The light is shifting, and the days get longer every day. We can hardly wait!

We're getting ready for spring, too. Seedlings are starting to peep out of their pots in the windowsill. Baby goats are gamboling in the pasture, and chicks are soon to come.

We're posting new items daily, so stop by and sit a spell, y'all hear?

WoodlandCottage's Shop Policies


We are very proud of our craftsmanship and artistry at Woodland Cottage Crafts, and we want you to be proud of any piece you invite into your life. Above all, we want you to be pleased and happy with your purchase!

We will never knowingly or intentionally try to deceive or otherwise misrepresent anything in this Shop. Never.

We attempt to fully and accurately describe each item, and use accurate photographs. Photos may be of representational items, and there might be very minor differences from the item you receive. If so, this is due wholly to its handcrafted nature. If minor variations may cause you anxiety, let us know and we’ll work it out ahead of time.

Feel free to convo us regarding anything that’s on your mind—we love to hear from you. If you have questions about any item, convo us and we’ll respond promptly.


We prefer Paypal, or credit card or debit card payment through Paypal. You do not have to sign up with Paypal to use this service, and they will accept a bank debit card. We also can accept money orders, cashiers checks, or personal checks. If you pay with Paypal, money order or cashiers’ check, we usually ship the item on the next business day after receipt. Personal checks are subject to clearing, and will delay shipping. If you have questions about payment policies, please convo us and we will respond promptly.

Payment is expected within four days of purchase. If this is not possible, please convo to discuss possible alternatives BEFORE making your purchase. If unforeseen circumstances present a challenge, PLEASE convo us IMMEDIATELY to discuss. If payment is not received within four days of purchase and you have not communicated your circumstances to us, you MAY receive negative feedback and reported to Etsy Admin (it depends upon your willingness to work with us--we're willing to work with you--please contact us). Again, if you have questions or difficulties, please convo us and we will respond promptly.


Unless otherwise noted, all items are shipped via the U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. If there is an exception to this, it will be noted in the item description. If there is a tracking number associated with the shipping of your item, we will send you a convo with that information. (Please note that sometimes it takes up to 36 hours after shipping for a tracking number to appear on the USPS website.) If you have concerns or questions, please convo us and we will respond promptly.

Some items are sent insured; with others, insurance is optional for a small additional fee. Please note insurance details in the item description.

Refunds and Exchanges

We will gladly replace any item that was damaged in transit, if a replacement is possible. If the item is one-of-a-kind we will promptly issue a full refund of your purchase price.

If you feel the item was misrepresented in any way in the description or photos, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt for a full refund of your purchase price.

AFTER you convo us to report a problem, you will need to ship the item back to us within 48 hours of your receipt in the same condition in which you received it (even if it’s damaged). We must receive the item back to our shop before a replacement or refund is issued. As soon as we receive the item back here, we will expedite the transaction (replacement or refund) within two business days.

You will be responsible for shipping costs and insurance fees to send an item back to us. Convo us and we'll help you figure out the most cost-effective method to send the item back.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Our studio is a non-smoking environment. We do have a dog in the house (and cats and goats and cows and birds and turtles, etc.) but they're not allowed into the studio area.

Of course, we are open to trades, consignments or wholesale! If you are interested in arranging such a transaction, please convo us to discuss.

A little communication goes a long way and helps life run so much smoother. Therefore if you have questions, concerns, comments, etc., please feel free to convo us, and we will respond promptly and respectfully. We consider there's no such thing as a stupid question, so if you want to know--just ask!
