My doll Ellowyne looks fabulous, the hand beaded jewelry is so beautifully made, it compliments this outfit so well. I highly recommend this seller for the high quality yarns and fabrics used. Packaged arrived quickly. Thank you for making my first purchase from this shop such a good experience.

A Gift From My Father
When I was 9 years old, I fell out of a cherry tree and seriously injured my back. I had to take it easy for a long time. No running around like the little tomboy that I was.
I'll never forget the day. He announced he was taking me to the store because he was going to teach me to knit. Up until then, I didn't even know he knew how to knit. He told me his father taught him, and he used to knit when he was in the army sitting in foxholes. He drove me to the local drug store where they had a large yarn department. He picked out a skein of incredibly hideous gold variegated yarn, a pair of Boye knitting needles, and a small How to Knit booklet. When we got home my lesson began. My first project was a scarf.
It's the most valuable gift he ever gave me. I took to it instantly, and loved it. I have loved it ever since and have mastered it. It has given me hours and hours of joy.
A few years ago my sister introduced me to the world of doll collecting and Robert Tonner's Ellowyne Wilde line of dolls. I purchased my first doll, Essential Ellowyne Wilde 5 Blond, shortly thereafter. From there, it's been all down hill. Now I have over a dozen of these dolls, plus I've started collecting artistic Ball Jointed Dolls, Naturally, I had to knit for them. Here's the problem though. There's only so many outfits my dolls can wear. In order to provide myself an outlet for all this creative knitting, an Etsy shop is born.
Two other passions of mine are Non-loom bead weaving and bead knitting. Occasionally you will find items available for purchase featuring these skills.
