Hello there I'm Di, owner and artist behind Woollybuttbears. I operate from my home in Adelaide's north on the edge of the Barossa Valley in South Australia. I make all items myself unless specified. I love to create gifts and collectables that provide a smile. Each item is uniquely different and inspired by my love of nature and my environment as well as eccentric quirky things and gardening. I love pottering in the garden and watching things grow.

I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 7 days of delivery

I don't accept cancellations

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
I like my customers to be happy but if you're not, please contact me within 48 hours of receiving your item.

As most of my items are individual pieces of art taking many hours to complete, refunds or exchanges will be made on a case by case basis but you must contact me within 48 hours of receiving the item.

At this time I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges for a change of mind ie: you don't like the colour, size etc. Please think seriously before you purchase.

If an item is accepted for refund/exchange the item should be returned to me at the purchasers cost in original as new condition (buyer pays return postage). The item should be returned to me within 21 days.

I try to photograph items as clearly as possible but computer monitor colours can still vary.

I can take no responsibility for items not covered by registered post tracking/insurance which you must request when purchasing (unless included in the overall cost).

I can take no responsibility for items that go missing in the post unless they are covered by insurance and registered post tracking.

If your item does not arrive within 1 month (international) or 2 weeks (within Australia) please contact me. I am unable to follow up items after this time. Refunds or Exchange are only offered to items that have been insured or have registered post.

I am really happy to try and address any concerns you might have, please contact me in the first instance as soon as possible. Thankyou.
Payment
Payment is required within 2 working days. If you are having difficulty paying please contact me.

As we are based in Australia all items are listed in Australian Dollars, but, the Etsy system allows you to view prices in your own currency. The Etsy system has it's own currency conversion rates which can change on a daily basis. We have no control over currency conversion rates. Pricing is correct at the time you view an item, we are unable to change pricing to reflect yesterday's currency rates or vice versa.

I use paypal for payment. You do not have to sign up for paypal, but, you can use their system to pay via credit card.

I will also accept direct bank transfer within Australia (from major Australian banks only) or Australia Post Money Order (within Australia only). Please contact me if you prefer to pay via either of these for further info.

Please only purchase if you are serious as I cannot refund money for changes of mind or cancellations.
Shipping
We ship via Australia Post within 3 working days or your purchase payment clearing unless it is a custom order for which I will let you know specific details for delivery.

We provide a choice of postage rates including: Registered Post (recommended), postage with extra insurance (recommended) or normal postage (at your own risk if item goes missing).

Your purchase will be posted to the address on the etsy invoice, please advise if you prefer shipping to another address.

We try to use as many recycled products as possible in the packing process so as to be more friendly to the planet. If an item needs to be made to order you will be notified of the time frame needed for me to complete this.

***Should you require tracking and or insurance please contact me for a quote as this costs extra**. (we cannot take responsibility for items that go missing in the post see refund policy below for more info).

As a purchaser you are responsible for any custom duties payable in your country and please check with your countries import customs for any items that are not allowed to be imported.
Additional policies and FAQs
I provide a layby/lay-away service through paypal. I charge an initial deposit amount of between $25 - $30aud. (this is non-refundable should you change your mind).

After this regular invoices will be sent to you via paypal for an amount agreed to (ie: $20, $30, $40) in either a weekly, fortnightly or monthly period as agreed to.

Item to be paid for within 2 months.

I will also place a reserve on items for up to 10 days only. Please be aware that other people may want to purchase those items and after 10 days if no payment has been received I will deactivate the reserve. If you need longer please contact me to discuss layaway.

I am pretty flexible so if you have any questions please contact me and I'll be happy to help. I know life gets busy sometimes and things happen, please contact me if you are having difficulty with payment.

This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.
