I love the quality of your triptich but there is also is some sentimentality for me. I have a wonderful son who grew up fishing with his brother. He dearly loved this activity but rarely gets to engage in it as an adult. I am giving it to him for Christmas and I know it will mean a lot to him. Thank you for your fine work and happy holidays! Very fast shipping and wonderful customer service. I loved the hand-written letter that came with the painting. It definitely showed that the artist is connected to her work. As for the painting, it's lovely! I love the detail, the soft (yet vibrant) coloring, and the basic design of the journals and flower. I've placed this in my office, near my desk. As a writer by profession, it will be a constant reminder to write, then write some more.

About

I want my paintings to tell a story.

It hasn't been too many years since I first discovered painting. Once my children were old enough to drive, I found myself with time to learn something new... something for me. On February 22, 2007 I painted my first painting. It was a tree, and it actually looked like a tree! My interest was sparked with a 6-week Introduction to Oil Painting class and just never ended.

I guess it only makes sense that the paintings that I enjoy the most are those that tell a story. I love to tell stories both orally and through writing. I've been doing that my whole life, but now I'm learning to tell stories through my painting.
