5 out of 5 starsIt seemed like false advertising, because the ad clearly said “1000 carats of raw opals”. I messaged the seller, though, and she said I had selected 50 carats, and she had sent me 58. I probably did select 50 carats. I only risked $20, and I didn’t expect to get 1000 carats of raw opals for that. They should change the ad, though. It was very misleading. I ordered them for someone else, and he was sure that there should be 1000 pieces of raw opals.

4 out of 5 starsThe opals were very pretty and came in a variety of colours, my sample did have a lot of clay through the opal stone so not much of it was good for cutting and polishing, but that is the luck of buying rough
