The text is a tiny bit out of square, but honestly it doesn't bother me; it's a reminder that a person handmade this, as opposed to a machine printing thousands of them at a time.

Popular practical Magic sign. Always throw spilled salt over your left shoulder.
Out of frugality comes creativeness and a business full of love (and mason jars).
The first hand painted sign I created was made out of an old, $3, thrift store cutting board.
My boyfriend and I had just moved into our new place, and after all the moving expenses and renovation costs, our decorating budget was non existent! I had sooo many great ideas planned for all the bare walls, so instead of giving up, I got crafty. Trolling through our local thrift store is our second favorite thing to do (the first being, trolling flea markets :] ), it's free and it gets both of our creative juices flowin'. So, I kept my eyes peeled for something cheap, and reusable every time we went. One fine day, I stumbled upon the cutting board. I fell in love with the wood grains, inlays, and shape. I already had an idea for the theme I wanted to do in the kitchen, and thought it would be perfect! Later that night, I found a favorite movie quote online, set to painting, and my best selling "Always" sign was born. I haven't stopped painting and designing signs since.
I decided on setting up an Etsy shop when I ran out of walls. Seriously, I ran out of walls to hang these things! LOL. And I'm pretty sure if another relative got one more as a gift, they would hit me with it! All of the extra wood from the renovations, lead to a sign making frenzy! I have so much fun making them, that I needed an outlet to make more. Etsy provided me with that. I also have some of my signs for sale in some local shops, here in Rhode Island and some in Massachusetts.
My ideas, inspiration, and designs, come from sharing the things I love, being frugal, being creative, and living my everyday life. I love to laugh. I love sparkly things. I love beautiful quotes and sentiments. I love rustic things, thrifty things, and distressed things. I love reclaimed wood. I love all things magickal. I love movies and tv, ( hehe) and I LOVE MASON JARS!! No really, I think I have a problem. I feel all those things I am passionate about and in love with, shine through in my work and designs.
I LOVE and I am extremely proud of my small business, and plan to keep it going and growing strong, for many years to come. :)
