Darling children's clothing and accessories that were never sold or worn--stored in a time capsule of sorts--are now at WunderDuds! Look for photos of the manufacturer's tags, valued as ephemera. My favorite reads: "NEW for YOU in '62!"

About

I MADE VINTAGE CLOTHES FOR THE FUTURE...

In the Southern cotton mill town where I grew up, nearly every woman sewed, and a wide variety of fabrics were in abundance. I now find it remarkable that as a child and teen I designed my own clothes!

My mother would take me to "The Cloth Shop", where I selected a Simplicity or McCall's pattern. We bought "material", and I learned the qualities and names of each -- dotted Swiss, wide wale corduroy, seersucker, cotton duck...chambray.

The outfits on WUNDERDUDS VINTAGE are so very similar to the ones my mother and I created. The trims I selected decades ago are all represented here: rick rack, tatting, unique vintage buttons.

When I have questions about vintage clothing, my mother is still my best resource.

At the age of seven, I purchased my first camera for fifty cents and ten Bazooka bubblegum wrappers. Before long I was staging photographs of my friends and family, complete with wardrobe and props. What we wore then, is VINTAGE now. Cool!

WELCOME TO WUNDERDUDS VINTAGE!

At the age of seven, I purchased my first camera for fifty cents and ten Bazooka bubblegum wrappers. It was not long before I was staging photo shoots of my little friends, complete with costumes, wardrobes, and props. After earning my Master of Media Arts degree, I worked in the film and photography industry and -- over the course of three decades -- collected the items for sale here at WunderDuds Vintage.
