5 out of 5 starsClean, thick, & easy to apply. Came with a wallpaper applicator that was perfect for smoothing. Did 16 stairs in < 60 minutes. Delivery in < 1 week. Turnaround time from Cust Service was < 1 day each time. I got samples from other similar companies. Wunderwall's was the best & least expensive. Hoping this lasts at least a few years. Huge improvement compared to using white paint on wood. This material doesn't even show the cracks in the wood risers.

5 out of 5 starsReally neat and fun mural! It took some patience and lots of measuring to get it installed. Most definitely a two person job! The quality is superb, we accidentally got it stuck to itself multiple times but with slow tension could fix it without any damage. It sticks very well to our slightly textured wall. Most difficult part was working around electrical boxes and switches but made it work. Our son loves it in his Star Wars themed room!

What’s the difference between Wunderwall and traditional wallpaper?
Wunderwall is a self-adhesive (peel and stick) vinyl wall mural that has an easily repositionable backing for easy installation and removal.
Wunderwall is printed on demand – custom-sized to fit your wall perfectly.
Traditional wallpaper is installed either by first applying paste on the back with a brush or rolling the paper in a tray of water to activate the pre-paste. Both are messy options and difficult to position and remove without damage to the wall.
Wallpaper comes in stock sizes. You must measure and cut to make it fit your wall space.
How long will Wunderwall stay on the wall or Stair Risers?
Depending on the wall application, Wunderwall is designed to enjoy with zero maintenance for many years. The key to longevity is to properly clean and prepare the wall before application.
Is Wunderwall Easy to Clean?
Yes. Under normal wear and tear, Wunderwall can be cleaned with just a clean, dry cloth or lightly dampened cloth.
Does Wunderwall need a protective laminate or topcoat?
For the average wall with average traffic, Wunderwall is designed to provide superior performance for as long as you choose to enjoy it and does not need a topcoat. If you are installing Wunderwall in a high traffic area, contact us for further options.
Is Wunderwall commercial grade?
Yes. All of our products are commercial grade Type II, Class A vinyl.
Can WunderWall be used on a textured surface?
WunderWall works great with some textured surfaces, but not all. If your mural is going on a textured surface, we recommend emailing us to order a sample kit to find out what material will work best for you.
Is Wunderwall outdoor-durable?
Yes. While the primary purpose is for indoor use, you can install Wunderwall outdoors with a maximum life expectancy of 5 years. The guarantee of removability outdoors is 2 years.
What is the thickness of Wunderwall?
Wunderwall vinyl has a thickness of 6 mil and 1 mil of adhesive, for an overall thickness of 7mil
Can Wunderwall be applied over unfinished drywall?
Wunderwall is best applied on a smooth-surfaced finished drywall with at least primer applied to the surface. If the wall has been painted, wait a minimum of 2 weeks before applying the vinyl.
