Rather than raise my prices so that I can continue to afford to do business here, I’ve joined the Etsy Strike to demand they cancel this act of abusive greed. Help us keep up the pressure! Don’t cross the picket line – boycott all of Etsy this week & demand that the bosses show respect for the sellers they depend on! Re: Lost Mail and USPS Mail Search Requests

Hi, y'all! Let's get right to it! Etsy's a bit bubblegum with the policies that sellers are able to establish. I thought I'd add a little more detail here:

If you suspect that your package is lost, especially if tracking says it's been delivered but it's nowhere in sight, it is IMPERATIVE that you contact me ASAP and *no later* than 2 days from the expected/confirmed delivery date. If it is a case of misdelivery, allowing me to get the mail search request started immediately GREATLY improves the chances that the issue will be corrected (think about it: the package might be sitting in your neighbor's mailbox or on their porch. Is the USPS more likely to recover it in 2 days or 2 weeks?). Let me level witcha! Once that tracking says delivered, I'm not obligated to send out a replacement. However, I always strive to make the situation right because, to me, it's a matter of ethics and goodwill. As I'm expanding my business, I am carrying products that are in limited stock and that take months to manufacture and arrive to me. To be blunt, I cannot afford to give it away. So! Please help me help you. Treat your missing mail like a missing person - the first 48 hours are the most critical. In general, it is not the seller's responsibility to contact the USPS on the customer's behalf. However, I like to be thorough and involved, and I will always do my utmost to help locate your package. If the result is not satisfactory, you may send a refund request through Etsy's official system; however, I will not send out a replacement if the tracking says delivered. Thank you for your understanding!

Hello, everyone! I'm so happy to announce that I'm making international shipping available again! 🎉 However, I've had to create some new terms and conditions for a smoother experience this time around 🥰 Please find them below:

All international shipping costs will include an insurance fee to cover lost packages ("handling fee").

I cannot track a package's movement once it leaves the United States. Once the package has been handed to the partner carrier, the tracking status becomes unavailable to me.

If your package is lost in transit, please notify me as soon as possible. I will submit an insurance claim with Etsy Shipsurance.

IMPORTANT: You MUST fill out and submit the affidavit that Shipsurance sends you. This is the ONLY way that I can refund your order and begin a new transaction with you after the insurance claim is approved. The insurance protects us both.

Your package may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or clearance fees imposed by your country. As a seller, I am unable to calculate or collect these fees or taxes and I am not responsible for paying for any such additional costs.

By continuing with any purchase, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

You guys have been blessing me with an abundance of orders, and I can't express how truly grateful and humbled I am by your love and encouragement 🥺😭🙏🏾💗 I want to continue devoting the care and attention that each of your caps deserve, so I've updated my processing time to 2-7 days for toe caps. Your caps may ship out sooner than later, but I'm allowing myself some wiggle room so that quality and positive energy remain top-notch! 🥰 Thank you so very much for your understanding and continuing support. You guys make me love what I do! 🤗💖

P.S. If you order items with 1-day processing times along with your caps, all items in your order will ship out together. This is purely for organizational purposes (although it does save on shipping costs and minimizes the chance of lost mail 😅). With how Etsy is set up, it is not possible to "separate" items and keep up with which parts of the order have or haven't been shipped. I hope this is clear! 🙏🏾💕

It truly saddens me to announce this decision. For the time being, I will no longer be selling internationally. There have been too many lost packages and disappointed hopes. And with how expensive international shipping is, I am unable to send out replacement caps, which, unfortunately, could succumb to the same fate. Please know that this decision does not come lightly, and I sincerely hope that circumstances will improve 💖💌

I just want to let you all know that I make it my utmost PRIORITY to make and ship out your orders by the next business day. However, more often than not, I make and ship on the same business day depending on what time your order was placed (if you order early in the morning, your package will likely be headed out that afternoon). I make daily post office runs because I LOVE seeing you guys get your toe caps on time! Unfortunately, USPS has had some trouble either with scanning the packages right away or with their system updating, so some orders will say "pre-transit" up until the very last minute. I message each of you to let you know when I'm shipping out your order and you can trust that I follow through with my word ❤ Etsy tells me that First Class Mail takes around 2-6 business days to arrive. If it's past the expected delivery date and your toe caps still haven't found their way onto your skates, please let me know! I will send you out a courtesy pair while I go on to nag The USPS 😇 Thank you all for your love, support, and patience!!! 💚💙💜

Are y'all tired of updates, yet?! I'm yet again amending the size recommendations. 99% of y'all have been ordering the large and I've realized that even kids - who tend to have clunkier skates - can benefit from large toe caps, too! So with that, I've decided to declare the Large/Adult as "one-size-fits-all." This should hopefully simplify everyone's experience. We're fine-tuning this shop bit by bit, y'all! <3

An Update to Toe Cap Sizing:

Hey, Everyone!

I've been working closely with skater volunteers who have been testing my toe caps against the sizes of their skates. I've determined that the large toe caps are universal and that the small ones are better suited for youth-sized skates. If you are an adult with a smaller-sized skate, the large toe caps will fit - they will just offer you more coverage, which is an attractive & protective asset! I sincerely thank all of the communicative testers and patient customers who have been instrumental in improving the inclusivity of my shop! <3

Okay, y'all. I don't mean to dip into cliché, but this little mini-disclaimer is the classic "Get it Before it's Gone" spiel. It's my priority to keep the most popular leathers in stock; however, I cannot promise that they will always be available. I will be consistently updating my shop's inventory to keep things fresh and to offer an even more varied selection of bold & zesty toe caps to send out into the world!
