Yarn Designs by Liz

Los Angeles, California 3 Sales On Etsy since 2011

Announcement   Welcome to Yarn Designs by Liz! All items sold here I made by hand myself with lots of hard work and thought placed into each item. Though each design is not always my own, I give full credit to those that made the patterns of which I follow. I love color and try to make each item as colorful and unique as possible. If you find an item you like, but want it in a different color or yarn, please contact me. I am not an expert, and can't do everything. I love taking special orders and work harder on them usually than other items I sell! Hope you find what you are looking for, both here and everywhere you go in life! All items shown here perfect for Christmas gifts and birthday presents!

P.S. All items sold here are made in a smoke-free, pet-free home in Southern California!

About

A Long Yarn to a Beautiful End

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Helton, and I live in Southern California. Where I live has by no means perfect weather, and it can be pretty unpredictable, even having snow on Easter a couple of times.
I started crocheting when I was a kid, but didn't really get into it again until I was in my late teens. I started selling what I made in my mid-twenties to make money when finding a steady job was difficult. A friend suggested posting my stuff on Etsy.com and I haven't looked back. More recently I have started knitting, and have as of yet to post any of my items, so be patient please, I have a couple of items in the works.
All my items are influenced more my color than the pattern I use to make each. If I have a pattern that works up well, I try to make it in any color I can to have variety. I am the only person running the shop and have no help in making my items that I sell.
Yarn, a crochet hook, a set of knitting needles, scissors, and a tapestry needle are all I need to make any one of my items. If I could crochet or knit 24/7, I would.

I am a single woman who doesn't look her age and enjoys making gorgeous things out of any yarn she can get her hands on. I have the unfortunate problem of overdoing it however, and have to stop before my arm falls off from doing too much.
