Siempre me ha encantado hacer artes y manualidades y he probado suerte en muchas actividades artesanales diferentes. Aprendí a tejer una vez... e hice con éxito una manta (con la ayuda de mi madre, que tuvo que echarme cada vez que me logré ya que no sabía cómo...). Basta con decir que mi carrera de tejer terminó allí y pasaron otros 8 años antes de que recogiera una bola de hilo.

Luego llegó el COVID y, como muchos, decidí aprender una nueva habilidad mientras soportábamos aislamientos y encierros. No sabía mucho sobre ganchillo (¡o incluso cómo deletrearlo!). Sabía que era como tejer y estaba emocionada de probar algo nuevo. Entonces, se ordenaron algunos ganchos de ganchillo e hilo y ese fue el comienzo de una pasión de por vida.

Comencé con algunas cadenas largas de hilo, tratando de maniobrar mis manos y dedos de la manera correcta y no enredarme (¡o frustrarme demasiado!), Vi muchos, muchos videos y tutoriales de YouTube y finalmente me gradué en algunos cuadrados simples de la abuela y luego mantas. Comencé a explorar otros tipos de hilo y experimentar con canastas pequeñas y me encantó crear artículos hermosos pero funcionales. Ahora disfruto pasar mi tiempo haciendo cestas únicas y otros artículos para el hogar y decoración.

Me encanta trabajar con hilo y crear hermosas combinaciones de colores que funcionan para hogares y gustos individuales. Cada artículo está hecho con amor y cuidado y me trae tanta alegría crear piezas únicas hechas a mano.

Estoy emocionado de convertir este pasatiempo inesperado en una pequeña empresa que trae alegría y amor a los demás.

I have always loved doing arts and craft and have tried my hand at lots of different crafting pursuits. I learnt to knit once...and successfully made one blanket (with the help of my mum, who had to cast on every time for me as I didn't know how...). Suffice to say my knitting career ended there and it was another 8 years before I picked up a ball of yarn.

Then COVID hit and like many I decided to learn a new skill whilst we endured isolations and lockdowns. I didn't know much about crochet (or even how to spell it!). I knew it was kind of like knitting and was excited to try something new. So, some crochet hooks and yarn was ordered and that was the beginning of a lifelong passion!

I started with some veeeerrrryyyy long chains of yarn, trying to manoeuvre my hands and fingers in the right way and not get tangled (or too frustrated!), watched many, many YouTube videos and tutorials and eventually graduated to some simple granny squares and then blankets. I started exploring other types of yarn and experimenting with small baskets and absolutely loved creating beautiful, yet functional items. Now I enjoy spending my time making unique baskets and other homewares and decor.

I love working with yarn and creating beautiful colour combinations that work for individual homes and tastes. Each item is made with love and care and it brings me such joy creating unique, handmade pieces.

I am excited to turn this unexpected hobby into a small business that brings joy and loviness to others.
