About YarntYouGladCo

On Etsy since 2018

I am, hands down, a fiber enthusiast. I have always felt like the fiber arts are a beautiful junction where art meets craft and it hitches a ride with practical. Why can't your socks be a work of art? Needless to say, I have been at this for a while and have loved every minute of it. I started knitting when I was a teenager, taught by my great grandmother. I then picked up weaving in my 20s. Now, in my 30s, I have added spinning. It has been a journey and one that I would love to share. I have published in multiple fiber arts magazine, including "Handwoven," "Spin Off," "Ply Magazine," and "KnitScene." Some of the patterns and pieces from those publications I am now able to share with you here. I hope there is something that strikes your fancy and inspires you as an artist, too!

I opened this shop as an opportunity to share some of my fiber joy as well as find a source of revenue to grow my dream of creating sustainable, beautiful, lasting resources for fiber crafters both online and in person. Obviously this is a slow simmer as I endeavor to curate a collection that you, the buyer, want as well as what brings me joy as an artist.

I also have a fiber blog for any wandering crafter out there. It is important to me that I share with the community I love so much. My website, www.yarntyouglad.com, is a combination of projects, tutorials, reviews and the everyday mind meander. It is linked on this page. Please stop by and join in the conversation. I really do have a deep love for the kind, supportive and giving fiber community. Thank you for taking the time to stop by my Etsy store, I know there are a lot of shops out there, and you are greatly appreciated.
