Colors were a bit lack luster, most of the beads were very washed out purple to clear. But, for the price it's about average quality.

About

There's More to a Stone than Just a Rock!

I had a cool looking rock. I set about researching it and discovered a whole new world! Rocks are NOT common--they have stories!

Rocks that are fossils, millions of years old!
Rocks that were once "common" and now mined out...or nearly so.
Rocks that come from only one place in the whole world, like Siberia!
Rocks that are more rare than diamonds (quite a few, it turns out)!
Rocks in every color, pattern, and texture.

I love pretty and unusual rocks...and then I fell in love with the stories behind them.

I love riffling through boxes of beads looking for the unique few. My inventory reflects small quantities of the best quality and is geared to those who desire the uncommon for their jewelry creations or specimen collections.

Welcome to YayBeads! Love beads, beading, making jewelry? This is a place of inspiration and the ingredients to make it happen! Please come in, browse, and convo me if you have any questions.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept PayPal. If you've selected "Other" as a payment method, I will send you a Square invoice which you can use to securely pay by credit card. Your items will be shipped as quickly after your payment clears as I can, often next business day.
Shipping
If you are having trouble finding the shipping fees, you will see them when you check out in your shopping cart. I apologize for the inconvenience, but Etsy is running a test, which will hopefully be over soon resulting, I hope, in putting the shipping fees back where they can easily be viewed. Combined shipping will be applied automatically, so no worries.

All US domestic items are shipped first class parcel with delivery confirmation. The best value is if you purchase several items to be shipped together. Please note that shipping fees include: postage, packing materials (envelope and label; bubble wrap and packing peanuts are recycled), and transaction fees for both Etsy and/or PayPal.

If you are buying multiples of the same item, please do contact me for a reserved listing to save you money.

Non-US purchases are welcome, but buyer is responsible for all import, duty, and customs taxes, etc. that are levied by their government. Items returned for non-payment of these taxes/duties will be refunded purchase price, less a 10% restocking fee. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

International purchasers should note that, depending on season and customs, packages may take from 2-5 weeks. Please be patient if your package takes a while to arrive--it is at the discretion of the postal service and customs. If you are concerned, please take the confirmation number, which is actually the customs number assigned to your package, and check with your postal service to see if they can track it. It could just be delayed in customs.

In addition, I do not ship to the following countries: Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Burma, Congo, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast (Cote d'Ivoire), Liberia, Mexico, Nigeria, North Korea, Paraguay, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela; also the following Russian and other Commonwealth of Independent States countries (includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan). NOTE: This list may change without notice. If you live in one of these countries, I will be happy to check the current status.
Refunds and Exchanges
Items are photographed and described to be best of my ability. Please don't hestiate to ask questions. If I've made an error in describing the item, I'll be happy to refund your money upon return of the purchased items as long as they are in the same, unused condition they were shipped. You may return an item if you don't like it; however, shipping fees are non-refundable. A 10% restocking fee may apply.

Partial returns on the same beads are not accepted (eg, if you purchase 10 beads, you must return all 10).

Items not accepted from the post office and/or customs are refundable only if returned in the condition they were originally shipped.

International Purchases: Items returned for non-acceptance or non-payment of taxes, duties, etc. will be refunded purchase price, less a 10% restocking fee upon receipt of returned package. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Items not returned cannot be refunded; this includes items abandoned at customs.
Additional policies and FAQs
If possible, I try to recycle shipping materials, but only if the contents are well protected!

Reserved listings and unpaid items will be held for one week in most instances. At that time reserved listings will be un-reserved and any associated offers will expire. Similarly, unpaid items will result in the cancellation of the transaction and its return to available inventory.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Props such as coins, shells, sand, driftwood, hands, etc. used in photographs are not included.
