¿Por qué "Yellow Brick Road"?
El camino de ladrillo amarillo en la historia de El Mago de Oz, para mí, simboliza un camino hacia el descubrimiento personal. Los personajes de la historia Dorothy, el Espantapájaros, el Hombre de Hojalata y el León Cobarde creían que carecían de los rasgos que necesitaban para ser lo mejor de sí mismos. Pero no era cierto. Todo el tiempo, tuvieron la satisfacción, la sabiduría, la compasión y el coraje que pensaban que les faltaba. Fue a través de su viaje que se dieron cuenta de su potencial personal.
Todos nosotros tenemos dones muy especiales dentro de nosotros.
Solo necesitamos que se nos recuerde y se nos anime a dejarlos salir.
Específicamente, me enfoco en la creatividad... usando la mía, enseñando a los niños sobre la suya y recordando a los adultos que vuelvan a aprovechar la suya.
Me especializo en piezas de medios mixtos que celebran y superponen colores, palabras y nostalgia. ¡Mi obra de arte y mis revistas de arte hechas a mano combinan mi pasión por los papeles, los efímeros, las imágenes y el texto!

Why "Yellow Brick Road?"
The yellow brick road in the story of The Wizard of Oz, to me, symbolizes a path to personal discovery. The story characters Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion all believed that they lacked the traits they needed to be their best selves. But it was not true. All along, they had the contentment, the wisdom, the compassion and the courage that they thought they lacked. It was through their journey that they made this realization about their personal potential.
All of us have very special gifts inside of us.
We just need to be reminded and encouraged to let them out.
Specifically, I focus on creativity...using mine, teaching kids about theirs, and reminding adults to tap back into theirs.
I specialize in mixed-media pieces that celebrate and layer colors, words and nostalgia. My artwork and my handmade art journals combine my passion for papers, ephemera, images and text!
