Allow me to introduce myself to those that are new here. I'm a 56 years old Afro-Bajan (born in Barbados) enterpenure/business owner. I received my calling to work for myself at about age 17. Since then, I have used my creative passions to maintain my lifestyle. I have now been creating my homemade, plantbased hair and body care products for more than three decades. I'm a wife and the mother to two amazingly creative, entrepreneurial adult daughters, in their early thirties.

My natural hair care and body care product line is called Ancient Blends. These blends are manifestations of many ancient ancestral recipes. Ancient Blends brand is created according to the guidance via downloads. I formulate these ancient formulas and blends as I receive and recreate them according to my own cellular memories and divine inspirations. These are Ancient Ancestral whispers, blended with the utmost care and in stages, inside sacred space, which I've been creating in my Cowrie Shell Center still located in Bedstuy Brooklyn, NY.

I am also the founder/proprietor and operations manager of The Cowrie Shell Center, a home-based, holistic hair care and well-being sanctuary and Yoni Steam Temple (Yoni Steam services currently closed due to C-19). Although, I currently provide professional hair care services for all types of natural hair, as well as offer holistic wellness consultations and treatment for women, men and children in need of my healing services.

My center is located in Brooklyn, New York since 1992. The Cowrie Shell Center has grown from humble beginnings; I still create my Ancient Blends plant based products in my kitchen. Today, my passion for sharing these special products with others who can benefit from using them is as strong as the first time I mixing my very first hair oil. I still use 100% natural ingredients and 100% pure loving intentions to nurture and re-hydrate your hair and skin.
