Shop policies

Come into my shop and look around. I hope you will enjoy seeing the things you find here. You may find just what you seek for your own collection or display, for everyday use a "second or third time around" or for use as a stage or photo prop. I've enjoyed collecting everything in my shop, and will, I'm sure, collect more. Collecting gets in the heart and mind, and refuses to let go! The quest for that one perfect piece is a heady motive for collectors. Please ask if you have any questions. I want your experience here to be totally enjoyable.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept PayPal, which protects your investment as well as mine. If you do not have a PayPal account, I encourage you to open one. It is the safest method of online payment available, as you do not have to share your credit card or debit card information. Only purchases within Mississippi are taxed at 7%.
Shipping
I only ship within the continental U.S. at this time. Glassware, jewelry, and fragile or delicate items are shipped by USPS Priority Mail unless the buyer requests by convo to ship Parcel Post to save on shipping cost. Vintage books may be shipped by media mail if you are not in a hurry, and media mail is even less expensive than parcel post. Other items, such as housewares, will be shipped by USPS Parcel Post unless fragile (usually referring to "breakable") or otherwise stated in the listing, or unless you request faster shipment for extra shipping expense. I try to ship within 3 business days (not including weekends or holidays) of receiving confirmation of payment. Some of my packaging is recycled in my effort to be green and save trees on the planet. Nevertheless, I will pack, cushion and seal each shipment securely. Your investment is protected by paying via PayPal. However, if you wish me to purchase shipping insurance, please convo your request, and I will add it to the cost of shipping.
Refunds and Exchanges
Nothing is damaged when it leaves my hands. I describe items honestly and thoroughly, including information about any defect a vintage piece may have. I will attempt to show any defect in photos; however, some are so small they do not show up. Some small defects just lend character to a vintage item, but, if you feel I have not accurately described something you bought, please contact me to explain. In legitimate instances, I will refund the sales price plus any applicable taxes (for MS buyers), if the item is returned to me within seven days in exactly the same condition as when I shipped it. It will be the responsibility of the buyer to pay the shipping and insurance cost for return. For anything damaged in shipping, contact me with proof for the USPS insurance claim if you requested and paid for shipping insurance. I do not, however, refund for buyer's remorse, so please be sure you want it before you purchase it. If it is a wearable item, I will include measurements. Remember that vintage clothing and accessories do not necessarily adhere to contemporary apparel measurements.
Additional policies and FAQs
Vintage items have, in most cases, been used or worn; therefore, buyers should not expect them to look new unless stated in listings that they have been stored in unused condition. Prior usage lends character to a vintage item, and I always feel that a used item has been loved. Re-cyling that item gives the buyer an opportunity to love it again. That's my philosophy about acquiring and re-using vintage, and I hope buyers agree with it.
