5 out of 5 starsFinally got around to making her and the pattern was pretty easy to follow! The hardest part was the nose which I messed up a little but I used shaved pastels to add shadows and make it stand out a little more as well as to dirty her up a little bit. Thanks for the pattern, it was fun!

Yesterday's Trash... because everything has a re-purpose!
I scour the flea markets, rummage and yard sales, antique shows and the ground I walk on to find discarded items of yesterday. I see what's beautiful about them and I showcase that in something new.
If it wasn't my job to take junk and upcycle it, I'd still be hunting for junk all year round. It's an addiction I just happened to turn into a hobby which turned into a livelihood.
Even when I go on vacation to beautiful, interesting and unique places, I find myself looking down at the ground to see what goodies are there for repurposing! I have to remind myself to look up at the nice architecture... oh yeah, and people (oops, sorry sir!).
But if I can't find exactly what I need from days gone by, well... then I just make it myself and make it look like it's a vintage piece. Everything new is old again!
