AMAZING! Wonderful doll, uncomparable craftmanship. I'm completely blown away with the qualit of work and how pleasent Kylie was when I was designing the doll. She got every detail to the T! Will definetly order any doll I need from her again!

My Santa, Mrs Claus and Elf are wonderful! Excellent craftsmanship and a quality design have delivered three beautiful ornaments for Christmas. Thanks so much! (and it was a quick turnaround!)

The start of Yillup Designs

I taught myself to crochet using YouTube in 2010. It quickly became a bit of an obsession. I realised that if something didn't change, my house would quickly be overrun with crocheted blankets, toys and other bits and pieces. So I opened my Etsy store to sell the things I make.

I'm often asked how I came up with the name "Yillup". When I was in high school a friend tried saying my name (Kylie) backwards. She completely mucked it up and instead "Yillup" came out. I've used Yillup as my online name since I started using the internet (which I'm a little embarrassed to admit was a very loooong time ago - back when you had to wait a few minutes while the dial up connected, and where computers with a hard drive of 500MB was top of the range! LOL). No-one ever has the name "Yillup", so I don't have to think of numbers and extras to add to my name.

I'm the wife of a very understanding man who (so far) has let me take over our house with lots and lots of craft. I'm a stay-at-home mum of 2 little grublets who are growing way too fast for my liking. I love crafting of all kinds!

Shop policies

Last updated on September 9, 2012
Welcome to my store, Yillup Designs. I am a bit of an ecclectic crafty person, so you never know WHAT you'll find in my shop! I'm also a bit of a perfectionist, so you can be assured that whatever you are buying has passed my exacting standards.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Other Method
As I am in Australia, I only accept PayPal right now for international buyers. As much as I would love to accept cheques or money orders, there are too many things that can go wrong when sending money from so far away, and I am sure you don't want to have to wait months to get your lovely items!

For those buying from Australia I do accept direct deposit. Please select "other" when you go through the checkout and I will contact you with my bank account details. Please know that it can take a few days for direct deposits to appear in my account and I will ship your item(s) as soon as possible after it does.
I ship all my items using Australia Post. At times they can be a bit on the expensive side to send parcels overseas. I apologise for that, and if there's any over-payment of postage at all I will be very happy to refund the excess.

I prefer to use recycled postage packaging, but it is always clean and strong. If you prefer a brand new shipping box or postage pack, please let me know on checkout and I can arrange this easily.

I am happy to send your item by registered post at your request. Please let me know so I can get a quote on you particular package.

If you would like to me send your package directly to a gift recipient, I am very happy to wrap your present and attach a small gift tag. Just let me know and I am sure we can arrange something.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, please contact me to discuss the matter. All returns and refunds will be dealt with in a personal and friendly way.
Additional policies and FAQs
All my items are created in a completely smoke free home. I used to own a cat and there may be the occasional stray piece of fur that she donated to my yarn. It probably won't be a problem (she passed away 2 years ago), but I wanted to make sure people know in case of severe cat allergies.
