How do I print my artwork?
1. There are three main ways to print your artwork.
If you have a good printer at home you can print it here (or do it at work if nobody is looking!)
2. If you want a larger print, a local print shop such as Staples or Costco will do a great job for you, just email them the file you want and tell them the size of print you require.
3. Upload your file to an online print shop such as Shutterfly.com Walgreens.com or Photobox.co.uk in the UK. Or search for ‘photo printing’ to find one local to you.
When should I use a JPEG file?
1. If you are printing from home and are confident at resizing your files.
2. If you are going to take them it to a local printer.
3. If you want to upload it to an online printing service.
The file you use will depend on the ratio of the frame you have. They can be easily resized without loosing quality.
• For a 4x5 Frame: XXX_4x5_YOYO.jpg
This can be printed at the following sizes: 4 x 5 in / 8 x 10 in / 16 x 20 in / 40 x 50 cm.
• For a 3x4 Frame: XXX_3x4_YOYO.jpg
This can be printed at the following sizes: 6 x 8 in / 9 x 12 in / 12 x 16 in / 18 x 24 in / 30 x 40 cm.
• For an International Paper Frame: XXX_IntPAPER_YOYO.jpg
This can be printed at the following sizes: A6 / A5 / A4 / A3 / A2.
When should I use a PDF file?
If you want to print your artwork yourself on your own printer and don’t want to resize any files then printing from a PDF file will give you a great result.
• XXX_8.5x11_YOYO.pdf is a full sized U.S. Letter print.
• XXX_A4_YOYO.pdf is a full sized A4 print
What paper should I print on?
These prints look great on Satin or matt paper stock, using a heavy weight paper. When printing at home I love Bockingford Inkjet Double Sided Water Colour paper 190gms / 90lb. But feel free to experiment.
In Europe paper is weighed in gms, look for something around 150-250gms.
In the USA paper measured in pounds, look for something between 80-110lbs
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Above all I want you to be happy with your print and as such I am happy to offer a refund or exchange if for whatever reason print does not match your expectations.
In the first instance please get in touch, I'm happy to try to resolve any issues for you.
Can I print the files more than once?
Files purchased from me may be printed as often as you like as long as it is only for personal use. Using the artwork (or any part of it) to create something that you then sell is a breach of my copyright which I take very seriously.
