HAND WROUGHT MARINE SCULPTURES :
As an artist born and raised in Rhode Island (a.k.a. the Ocean State) I was deeply inspired by the infinite variety of marine life found off the Atlantic coast. This New England artist and fisherman was therefore compelled to capture the likeness of our native species in copper.

5 out of 5 starsThis is a true work of art, care and expert craftsmanship. Better than it’s pictures. I couldn’t be happier or more impressed. I grew up on Cape Cod with artists and naturalists and this piece honors both of those heritages. Worth every penny and way more; it’ll be a treasured piece in my home in California. Thank you so much!

5 out of 5 starsI really can’t say enough good things about the seller. We had some USPS issues! Not his fault and he was quick to respond and trusted me to return the “late but not lost” first item. Great experience. Beautiful products

5 out of 5 starsLove this small copper horseshoe crab. Colors and craft ship is outstanding and this adds a wonder piece to the aquatic mural on the wall of my FL beach condo. I get quit a bit of comments about all the creatures when renters leave comments. Hopefully it will generate more purchases for this shop.

Some Copper Fish Hanging in My Customers Den
Copper Fish Story
At a very young age, I found myself at the Pond’s edge always catching and eating fish. In my late teens, I was a duck hunter for a few years and decided to try my hand at Decoy Duck Carving and quickly realized that wasn’t for me.
I consider myself to be a self-taught artist, but I was greatly influenced by my older brother, who was a very talented artist and sculptor.
I eventually moved on to creating art from Steel Rebar before moving to Copper.
I always thought weather vanes were cool and decided to make a half of a weather vane. I consider it as a one and a half dimensional sculptor.
I then started to make Copper fish, which ultimately became my passion. I still find myself trying to tweak my own patina finish, as I prefer that look over commercial made patina. Sixteen years later, I’m able to spend more time making a variety of non-marine art Copper sculptures, as well. Unfortunately, multiple art shows have been canceled this past year due to the pandemic and I thought I would try my art on Etsy to see where my school of fish would go! When I’m not creating sculptures, I enjoy sports, cooking, kayaking, fishing, hunting and walking my very active dog. I also love to spend summers by the Ocean with my wife.
