Announcement    COVID UPDATES AND HOW IT AFFECTS YOUR ORDER.
Dear valued Customers,

Thank you so much for your continuous support for my shop. These are difficult and challenging times for everyone, and I wanted to write to you personally to let you know some of the things I am doing to respond.

Zakaara is a small business I started on my kitchen table that has grown quickly and I now run from my garden office, it is still a one-woman operation, therefore, due to the large amounts of orders and emails, I am receiving at the moment I have created some FAQ to help answer some of your questions.

1. Where is my order?
While I'm working around the clock to keep the online orders ticking over smoothly, our standard delivery times have changed. If your order has been marked as dispatched, it is on its way to you. We are experiencing severe delays due to the global pandemic and your parcel may be affected.

2. Can I have tracking for my order?
Tracking is an extra add-on at checkout, this is done to keep shipping prices low. If you did not pay for tracking or you got free shipping there is no tracking on your parcel.

3. I need my item urgently what can I do? We have express courier delivery worldwide I can get your parcel to you between 2 to 5 days. If you are interested in this service please message me.

4. When will my order arrive? At the moment the average delivery times seem to be 7-10day for UK, 2 weeks for EU and 3-6 weeks for the US. This is a standard estimate. If your local post office has a staff shortage, or your postman not delivering regularly or your area is in severe lockdown- The delivery times maybe be longer. This is completely out of my control.

5. My item has not arrived can I get a refund? Due to the global pandemic and deliveries worldwide we have extended the refund period till after six weeks from dispatch. This is to allow both local and international postal services sufficient time to deliver the parcel.

6. Pre-order updates- A lot of items in the shop are currently on pre-order because of the increased demand. We have new stock arriving every day and orders will be shipped in the order they arrive.

7. When will my order be dispatched? I am currently experiencing very high numbers of orders due to the lockdown and without any staff, and a lot of items handmade, orders are taking longer to dispatch. I will aim to dispatch within a week of order and I appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.

8. Are you still receiving orders and fulfilling orders? Yes, I am 7 days a week!

Frequently asked questions
When are parcels deemed to be lost

Overseas packages can sometimes take up to 6 weeks to clear customs so please be aware if your items are taking a long time to arrive - this may very well be the cause. If there is duty to pay you will be contacted by the customs authority to pay the additional customs due.
UK parcels are not deemed to be "lost" until after 15 working days
US parcels are not deemed to be "lost" till after 30 working days.
